The mare couldnt help but giggle at Tamera as she took obvious offense to her insult, not very phased but her comment on Gaius' age. Looking now to Gaius as he spoke, she tried to keep her chuckling at bay.
"Guess you have a thing for rocks than, huh?"
"Just the pretty ones." She teased, blushing slightly as she realized the comment she had made. Looking up to the sky now she also became painfully aware of the little time they had left for anything. They were a only a few hours from the shattered lands, but now that Tamera knew it would be safer to go straight to the king now. The problem was the City of Olde was a full days travel, and Nefertiti hated making it.
Looking back to Gaius as he spoke again, the silvery mare nodded in agreement. Once the King allowed him to stay, she would definitely have enough free time to show him around the island they would both call home. Seeing his smile, her heart fluttered against her chest, and she couldn't help but return the smile. She had so many places she wanted to show him, this world was new to him, and she loved the idea of showing him it's beauty, sharing it all with him. Sharing it all with him.
"Alright then, we'll head out at dawn, for now I think we need to find one of the near-by, shallow caves, and eat something. If I'm hungry, you must be starving." Nef laughed softly at him, looking now to Tamera. "Are you going to be on patrol for the rest of the night?"
