D'Angelo | Bachelor Stallion | Infantry __________________________________________________________________
He had been a nervous wreck all morning.
The palomino had been going over precise instructions that he had come up with himself, along with some helpful advice from his twin brother, in order to help him perform his duty successfully. Cain had approached him with this task, and just the thought of it again almost made his head ache. But D'Angelo knew one thing for certain; he was more than ready to revisit the Southern Isle again. It had been a good many years since he had. His hooves knew this land bridge well. The crunching pebbles under each heavy step he took and the sound of the waves lapping at either side of the shore was all too familiar. As the misty ocean winds pulled and tousled his golden curls, Angelo turned his head to look back at his fellow herd mates to whom would be accompanying him. He couldn't fight the small, calm smile that appeared on his face at the sight of them. His light blue gaze swept from the dark coats of Camila and Rose, to the dunalino one belonging the young colt of Kaira and Apollo, Dante. He let out a breath, raising a brow in slight amusement at the thoughts of how this mission could play out. With young horses in the group D'Angelo couldn't fight his strong protective instinct that only came naturally to him. He cleared his throat before he addressed them.
"Ahem," he began, his gray-rimmed ears flicking towards his back before they swiveled forward toward them as he continued. "For those who didn't know ahead of time; Cain has tasked us with helping the Exiles." He announced in a factual tone of voice, trying to sound confident in order to fit his bestowed leadership position. "We were specifically given the task of assisting in non-violent activities." D'Angelo's gaze traveled from one of his team mates to the next, trying to read their reactions and in order to make sure that they understood what he was trying to say. "I would like the four of us to keep together please, anything out of the ordinary must be reported to me. Is that easy enough to understand?"
The palomino bowed his head before raising it again. "I cannot emphasize that enough, specially towards the both of you." His gaze rested solely on Rose and Dante as he nodded in confirmation. "I'm responsible for all of us today, and I don't want anyone lookin' for trouble." After his little speech D'Angelo smiled. "Let's go and do the best we can."

Ever since the war had begun, Camila was biding her time until she could participate in some way. When Cain and D'Angelo came forward and asked for others to help in assisting the Exiles, she jumped at the chance- almost literally and figuratively. She was the first to volunteer and although she was unhappy about having a male leading them, she decided that that didn't matter. She wanted to get off the Bachelor island and if she had to be lead by a male to do that, then so be it. A part of her wished it had been Apollo, but then she promptly shook that thought out of her mind with a defiant snort. She also felt very strongly about helping the exiles. She felt as though she belonged with them the most; outcasts, the ones who didn't really belong anywhere. She had no blood relatives that she was aware of, but perhaps she could find a new family there someday. For Camila, she had decided the moment she volunteered that she would not be returning to the East Island. Now that she was finally leaving it, she would do whatever it took to stay away.
Camila was slightly surprised at how young the other two volunteers were. She only recognized the younger of the two, Dante, whom she regularly saw around his mother, Kaira. She was unsure who the father was, but he seemed familiar in a way. But those were questions for another day. Right here and now was what she needed to focus on. In her mind, the wheels turned as she figured out her strategy, while keeping one ear open as the leader of their group began to speak. Camila gave a snort and a small nod of her head the palomino stallion gave out orders. She didn't like that calm smile he gave them; something about it bugged her and she merely grimaced in response. Camila was generally more of a listener than a talker, though if she had something important to say, she would say it.

| Rose | filly | Bachelor Youngling | __________________________________________________________________
Rose trots slowly behind her companions, eyeing them warily. When she had heard Cain was looking for people to go to Exile lands she'd eagerly agreed but she hadn't known a Stallion would be leading them. 'Should've known I guess.' She looks from one horse to the other silently judging. The colt didn't seem like he'd be any problem, after all he was even younger than her. The mare was a possible ally if she hadn't been corrupted or seduced by the stallions yet. Their leader however was hard to get a good read on. He kept glancing back at them and smiling. It gave the filly shivers and she wasn't exactly sure why. Maybe, eventually, she would take the time to learn their names. Maybe. She peers from one side of the land bridge to the other and pauses for a moment, allowing the others to get ahead of her as she closes her eyes, enjoying the feeling of the salty ocean spray on her face. The last time she had crossed a land bridge had not been so peaceful. But that doesn't matter now. Not only is she getting away from the dirty Bachelors for a while, maybe she could find an Exile who sympathized with the Olde herd, someone who might help her escape and return home... She snorts, shaking her head. 'You don't need anyone Ro, you could escape on your own.' The gray filly shakes her coat and puffs out her chest, standing head high before quickly rejoining the rest of the group who had stopped a ways ahead.
She points her ears forward as the palomino stallion explains their task to them, listening intently. Though she didn't trust this stallion she couldn't fight her Knight training. Listening to a commander felt natural to her. His confident tone, with a hint of fragility behind it, was amusing. Obviously he hadn't been charged with leading a group like this before but he seemed like his intentions were good. She snorts at the mention of non-violence. Maybe this stallion was different because when were Bachelors ever non-violent? The idea of keeping together was none to pleasing. Rose didn't want to get close to these horses, she wanted to get away. Her ears pin back when he looks to her, as if she was a silly little thing who would wander off aimlessly. His smile may be charming but if he kept making her feel like she was being talked down to the pretty-boy was going to get himself kicked. "I'm responsible for myself." she grumbles under her breath as they turn to continue walking. Yes, she would do her best, her best to escape that is.

D'Angelo | Bachelor Stallion | Infantry __________________________________________________________________ The silence from the black mare and the grumbled remark from the younger roan filly was a sharp reminder that he wasn't viewed as a friend, and he knew it was a foolish thing to think he would be in the first place. They didn't know him after all and had never met him until today. He was just another Bachelor stallion, and that title alone held no good things about it. D'Angelo couldn't help but snort in annoyance at the thought. He wanted this group to trust him and to be more relaxed. He wasn't going to do anything. He just wanted this to be as pleasant as it could be. But even those thoughts were naive, specially for someone like him.
The palomino looked off to the side as they made their way across the land bridge. His glass blue eyes, nearly as blue as the sky above them kept a watchful attention on their surroundings. D'Angelo couldn't help but wonder what sort of things they would encounter the closer they got to the Southern Isle. Even at this distance there was something that seemed spooky about it, and he couldn't help but worry, but he didn't let that show. He had to be strong for them. They were all his responsibility, whether they liked it or not. The tense atmosphere between them was already starting to make him uncomfortable. But he doubted the idea of him being able to start a decent conversation among them. D'Angelo turned his head and faced forward so that he was free to frown in frustration. Mares. He thought grumpily to himself.
A gull's scree distracted him from his thoughts, and as he looked up they were in fact on the shore of the island. The golden draft brought himself to a stop as he looked around, his gaze searching cautiously for anything out of the ordinary. Salty mist from the ocean was carried on a cool breeze that tickled his nostrils with each breath. Faintly on the same breeze he caught the faint scent of other horses, but where they were now was knowledge he didn't have, nor could he discover himself. "Well then, here we are." He announced, despite it being clearly obvious. But he didn't care either way, the stiff silence was killing him. He had to say something.

It was painfully obvious to Camila that this group would be hard to work with. They were all but strangers to one another, not to mention two of them were children. As the young filly caught up to them and grumbled her response, Camila couldn't hold back a chuckle. The little thing had spirit and for that the ebony mare gave her a half smile. However, the stallion seemed less than satisfied with their responses and turned to face forward. She couldn't see his expression but his uneasiness wafted off of him like dead flies to a carcass. He was a newbie at leading anyone and it was plain to see. The cogs in Camila's mind began to turn again; she could definitely use that information to her advantage. Perhaps she could even persuade the filly to join her in her escapade? As she glanced at Rose, a certain protectiveness washed over her. She felt responsible for the filly, like it was her duty to bring her to safety, to take her away from the bachelors. For a moment, Camila was lost in that thought but when she realized she was staring at Rose she shook her head and snorted, averting her eyes to anything else.
It was then that she noticed they were nearing the Southern Isle. Since they left, she hadn't paid much attention to their surroundings, she just followed D'Angelo because she wanted to get off the East Island as soon as possible. But now that they were away from it all, Camila let her eyes pan across the wide open waters to their left and right and finally settle on their destination ahead. The beach was mere minutes away and Camila had to restrain herself from galloping right past the palomino stallion. She gave an impatiant snort, ignoring the salty air that she breathed in. Her legs felt like they were on fire, ready to run and never stop. She dug her hooves into the sand to keep herself from bolting. She couldn't just do it like that, she would definitely get caught if she ran now. Plus, she truly did want to help the Exiles. Calm yourself. She scolded herself in her mind. You'll have your chance. Just focus on helping the exiles for now, and then we can break for it.
Finally, they reached the shore of the island and were met with no one. Camila was sure that this was because the Exiles did not know of their arrival, though she didn't think they would be hostile to them, at least not until they explained themselves. Or so she hoped that would be the case. When D'Angelo announced, rather awkwardly, that they had arrived Camila rolled her eyes and trotted forward, surveying the land. "Yes, thank you for your observation, Captain Obvious." She said, not hiding her annoyance with the stallion. She took a few whiffs of air; there were indeed horses here, but their whereabouts were hard to pinpoint. Growing up the way Camila did, she had a good nose. One learned to smell well when they were always running from danger. Because of this, it didn't take her long until she felt confident in a direction that they should go. "They're southeast of here. Or someone is, at least." Camila announced. "Good a place to start as any." She would've just gone right away, but instead she reluctantly looked to D'Angelo. He was their leader and although she despised that fact, he had to be the one to tell them which way to go, so she looked to him for an answer.

| Rose | filly | Bachelor Youngling |
__________________________________________________________________ When the mare chuckles at her comment Rose looks up a bit surprised. Maybe she could be a friend, at least she didn't seem to have been corrupted by the stallions yet as some of the slave mares had been. So many believed that being obedient was the way to survive but Rose didn't want to survive, she wanted to live. The feeling of eyes watching her makes her hide twitch uneasily. She notices the mare staring but simply falls back behind the group again, holding back a snarky comment in hopes of forming a good relationship. The dark filly settles into an easy pace behind them letting her eyes explore their surroundings. A steep drop to ocean on either side, she couldn't help but wonder if she could survive the waters if she chose to jump and swim for home. She shakes her head, dispelling the silly idea. Soon enough they would be on the Southern Isle.
The scent of other horses comes to her as they reach the edge of the land bridge. The Exiles... Her solid head tilts thoughtfully. When joining this little troop her main thought had been escape but as the smell of burnt lands far in the distance hits her nose she frowns. Maybe she could actually help these horses before helping herself. She could feel the stallion's unease as the lengthy silence between the group grew. 'Serves you right Stallion. What do you expect from two slaves and a silly colt?' As they reach the shoreline her eyes stray to the beach and the waves lapping at it more gentle than the waves beating against the land bridge. She tenses, wanting to run the beach, but stops short at the stallion's announcement. "Why thank you capt..." she is cut of by the mare's remark and her eyes go wide. She smiles slightly and gives the mare a small neigh of approval. Maybe this trip wouldn't be so bad.
The little filly couldn't help herself anymore. She struts confidently past the stallion giving him a dismissive swish of her tail before trotting down to the beach. She sinks her striped hooves into the damp sand and strikes it playfully. After digging a small hole she giggles slightly and lunges at a seagull. Why not enjoy some little pleasures in life? After all she was finally off of Bachelor lands, away from those who would try to break her... Her ears swivel back to the group with the mare's words. 'Southeast of here, good a place to start as any.' The filly turns and looks to the lands spreading out from the land bridge. She smiles at the possibility they mean and trots up from the beach to stand a few paces a head of the group. "Sounds good to me." she replies glancing to the southeast. She stands waiting for their leader. True he was a Bachelor Stallion and a bit of a newbie leader but she could at least have the decency to treat him as a commander, sometimes.

D'Angelo | Bachelor Stallion | Infantry __________________________________________________________________ With another smart remark aimed at him from the dark coated mare, D'Angelo's gray-rimmed ears flicked towards his back, only a mere inch from completely flattening against his head. He definitely wasn't getting anywhere with his blunt words. He needed to step up his game. He gritted his teeth under his lips in frustrated thought before he cleared his throat to address her response, since he noticed that both she and the filly Rose were looking expectantly at him. To be honest it actually surprised him that they even asked for his permission at all. Smart mares, he mused.
"Well miss Camila," D'Angelo's voice was smooth and bordering on cool as he tossed his golden curls to the opposite side of his neck with the help of a refreshing salty ocean breeze brought on by the crashing waves. "You appear to have a better sense of direction than me at this moment," he admitted in a low mutter before continuing in a more audible tone of voice, "southeast it is then." He announced, lifting his chin in the air and tilting his head slightly as he fashioned a smirk in Camila's direction. "I don't think I'd hear the end of it if I steered us the wrong way, would I?" There was amusement in his tone, but it was laced with a playful, daring challenge.
As he released a heavy breath he nodded south, his ears swiveling forward. "Lead the way," there was a more strict tone in his voice at that order. But was it from finally growing some confidence in his role? Perhaps it was, at least partially anyway. But a part of the palomino pinto was cautious... maybe a little afraid even, to venture further into the Southern Isle. As he turned his head to the southeast his good eye could see the thickening smog that seemed to hover over the land like thick dark clouds. It sent a shiver down his spine. He could pick up the faint scent of ash on the wind as it blew warm from that direction. Silently he prayed for luck and good fortune to be on his side, their side.
Suddenly the screech of a gull snapped him from his worrisome thoughts and he looked back to his little group. "Go on ahead," he repeated, turning his body with a flick of his cotton tail in order to position himself behind them to guard the rear, and to make sure he didn't lose sight of them. "I'll guard the rear. Everyone, keep your eyes and ears open. We don't know what we might find here." D'Angelo lowered his head and pinned his ears in a gesture to encourage them on while his eyes served as a radar system, scanning the terrain as they progressed onward.

Camila was actually surprised by how humble this stallion was when he replied. Though she was sure it was only because of his low self confidence that it showed; still, she was grateful that he agreed with her, but she was also happy to know that she was able to one-up him in some way. She liked to have the upper hand when it came to stallions, especially around larger ones like D'Angelo. He seemed to gain back some of his lost morale when he replied again with a smart remark. Though it was playful, she heard the daring underlying tone, as if he was testing to see how far she would go. Being who she was, Camila couldn't refuse to back down from something like that and so, with her eyes fixed on him, she gave a proud smile and scoffed. "Oh no, I wouldn't make fun of you for leading us astray." She said, using the same playful tone as he. "Blackmail you? That's another story." Camila flicked her tail in defiance, expecting another smart remark, but instead, the stallion gave her permission to lead the way. Her brows shot up in surprise, but she didn't protest. In fact, she actually gained a little respect for him. Most Bachelor stallions wouldn't dream of letting a mare lead the way, but to her astonishment, he continued on, taking his position behind them. She didn't quite like having him bringing up the rear, it made her a bit uneasy to not have him in her sights. But she would make do with what she was given. After the initial shock, her face relaxed to it's usual grimace and she turned toward the southeast.
Her eyes cast over the island before them; the smell of ash and charred flora danced on the breeze, playing at her mane. She snorted. It was an unpleasant and yet refreshing smell all at the same time. Camila glanced back at the others and nodded for them to follow. "Let's get going then." And with that, she lead them up the beach and toward center of the Last Green Land.

Natalie | Exile mare | Guard:Working out just where we would able to find the type of stick that we would need for her idea something caught Natalie's attention in the distance. Horses were approaching but who were they? Trotting out of the ash and onto the ground outside the ash she stood at attention with ears fully erect listening as her marbled eyes watched the new group. Turning a single ear back towards her group she spoke. "It seems we have some visitors coming our way." Pausing Natalie moved forward a little bit more trying to get a better look at the group. With each small step forward she see them better but also came concern they weren't Exiles. The first one she saw clearly was a mare she didn't recognize right off the bat but then it hit her causing her ears to flatten and her bound tail to swish. "Bachelors......" She straightened herself standing her ground allowing for them to come to her. Now she didn't understand why they had come but then again she was stumped to why there was a single mare, two young ones and stallion at the back. It struck her all as odd. Really it all kind of did but that didn't mean she was about to trust this group one bit. Calling out to the bachelor group her voice was firm. "Greetings, what you brings you this way?" she questioned the had doubts they were here to take from them for there would have been more stallions and not just one. Nor would they have sent a filly and colt to tag alone. Natalie's mind searched for a reason to why, there were so many different reason but not one she thought to be true. So she chose it might be best to just allow for a response from them first. She did hope that whatever the reason was she could solve it quickly so that they could get back to work after all there was much to do as right now.

Venus | Exile Scout | Mare Venus was calm as she move ash along to join the pile she had accumulated thus far. She felt Natalie tense and looked to the mare, who's own gaze was on the horizon beyond her. Natalie remarked of visitors with a fierce gaze set north. Venus glanced to the hazy figures approaching, figuring they were more Exiles sent to help with the massive task of restoring Home. This on her mind, she calmly went back to her busy work. Then her world went black with the uttering of one word. Bachelors. Venus's head shot up and entire body tensed with pain and fear. All of time seemed to stop. This was her place of new beginnings, of freedom and sanctuary. They couldn't reach her here and never would. But they had- and they were behind her, infested with Baba'yagu's black hearted power. Pure terror enveloped the small mare as all of her memories came back into her head. Her scars felt as if they were bursting once more and she was sick with fear. Even in reality, this was evident, because who would be scared of a small group of four- that was half younglings, might I add. Without any words, Venus bolted, dust flying behind her. This mare was never fast but none could match her speed now. Into the woods ashes she ran and did not look back, not even to her herd mates. Tears from her subconscious fell from her eyes as the others disappeared from the horizon. She must of run for a mile, because she didn't have a clue where she was when her legs collapsed of exhaustion. Heaving heavily, the mare lay in the ashes, her sudden downfall sending dust swirling into the sky that had brightened into day. Full tears now fled from her cheeks and she tried to gather her thoughts away from her past. Her breath was shaky as the dust around her settled. Venus took this time to look about her, and saw larger accumulations of ash and debris. Then she felt something grazing her flank. Her head turned to see a small, green sapling rising from the ground. Venus forced all other thoughts out of her head and took in this small thing. She lowered her head gently and set it on the ground, eyes focused on its leaves as the world quieted and bleached it's existence. | Rose | filly | Bachelor Youngling | _________________________________________________________________
"Dang right you wouldn't." the filly nods her head confidently at the stallion's playful challenge. Why would she ever let go of the chance to mock one of the Bachelor stallions? The mare's smart comments make her giggle. Yes, blackmail, now that was an idea. It seemed the stallion was getting a bit more confident in his leadership position. His seemingly easygoing yet commanding nature was gaining a bit of her respect. Though she didn't trust him she did agree they all needed to keep their eyes and ears open. No one knew how exactly the Exiles would react to them presence. At her nod Rose joins Camila at the front of the group and gives her a small smile. "Looks like we're the ones leading this little outfit now." she turns to look back at the colt and stallion behind them and snorts annoyed. "Though it doesn't feel all that great to have a Bachelor bringing up the rear. Huh?" She stares at the dark mare waiting for a reply but movement in the distance catches her eyes. Ignoring the stallion's earlier request to stay together she trots a head to get a better look. There is a small group of horses in the distance. Rose slows her pace, allowing the other's to catch up as they near the new group. Seeing as they were farther into the lands Ro assumed they were Exiles, she had never met an Exile before. The little filly takes a few steps towards the new mare, her tail held high, her training kicking in. "Greetings Exile mare." she bows her head just enough to appear polite before returning to her confident posture. "We come from the...Bachelors...to offer our assistance." the word Bachelors leaves a sour taste in her mouth. She wasn't one of them, she was a proud mare of Olde. 'At least I was...' As the rest of her group approaches she falls back to stand next to them.

D'Angelo | Bachelor Stallion | Infantry __________________________________________________________________
The palomino found amusement in the feisty black mare's remarks and it definitely helped him loosen up, which was slowly beginning to boost his confidence. But his playful demeanor changed so quickly it was almost uncanny at the moment the scent of unknown horses reached his nose. It was almost as if a dark cloud stormed over his glass blue eyes. He was definitely in his warrior mode.
D'Angelo's ears flattened in annoyance at how friendly Rose's greeting was. Despite them being the odd ones on the Southern Isle, he hadn't intended on meeting up with a group of Exiles. Although he didn't recognize these horses one bit, he still recognized the scent of an Exile. It was something he could never forget so easily. With his neck arched and his head held low to where his chin almost touched his chest, he trotted forward ahead of his group, his short tail flicking from side to side. His eyes automatically sized up each and every horse in the opposite group, almost as if he was a machine of some sort. But in the back of his mind he warned himself not to be too over dramatic. They were here to help after all.
When he was standing at the front of his little group he raised his head, looking down the small mare, one ear flicked towards her. D'Angelo, naturally being attracted to beautiful things, couldn't fight his urge to take several moments to admire her. But when he was on the job he was dead serious, there wasn't any time for that. He released a breath, raising a brow as he took a good look at her from hoof to the tips of her curled ears. Wow though, wasn't she a treasure. Too bad, he thought to himself.
"Greetings, Exiles," D'Angelo began as he cleared his throat, which had began to grow dry due to breathing in the ashy atmosphere of the island. He immediately pushed away the previous thoughts that had accumulated in his mind. The thick, ashy atmosphere of the island was beginning to agitate him slowly the deeper into the island they walked. But his mind didn't detour from the known knowledge he had of why they were here. He wanted to help them. He knew Luca surely would have wanted him to... and perhaps he could also finally make it up to Io and her mother, Flora, to whom he could never apologize enough for what he had brought upon her son. "As my, dear companion has said," he flashed the young roan filly a glance before looking back to the Exile mare. "We mean no harm." Slowly he let himself relax and he lowered his head in an attempt to keep himself from towering over the smaller mare. "I, mean no one any harm." He stated specifically, hoping that his words could provide some reassurance, even if just a little. But he had already noticed that one seemed to have bolted at the sight of them. A sharp thorn pierced his heart as his gaze was pulled towards the clouds of ash and dust that were all that indicated the direction she had ran. "I'm deeply sorry about that. I didn't mean to scare anyone." He snorted, trying to cover up how hurt he was with a humorous comment. "But I suppose I couldn't have expected a more reasonable reaction."

Amblyn | Exile Mare | Guard
~ She wanted to continue the discussion, but before she could so much as open her mouth, hoofbeats sounded. Horses moved towards them and they weren't ones she recognized. Feeling her sense of annoyance make way for alertness, the mare fell back on her training and positioned herself in front of everyone else. Bachelors were notoriously dangerous and she had no doubt that they would somehow invoke trouble.
"Be on your guard," she hissed, as she stood shoulder to shoulder with Natalie and kept the rest at her back. Not all the newcomers looked as impressive as some of the warriors she'd seen - covered in scars and long-healed wounds - but as far as she was concerned, they were still dangerous. Especially the two tall ones. A mare, with a dark coat and scars, and a towering stallion with vivid markings and piercing eyes. She'd keep hers strained firmly on them and she couldn't help but scowl. The other two, young and small as they looked, the others would have to deal with.
"Greetings, what you brings you this way?" Natalie spoke as Amblyn remained tense. The other mare seemed courteous and friendly, though Amblyn could not quite understand why. Some of the stories she'd heard about the bachelors, especially when faced with mares, terrified her to the core. She would not be so easily taken.
"Blood and mayhem, no doubt," she muttered, eyes flicking between the two greatest threats and occasionally straying to the younger ones. With luck they meant no harm. If they did, she would fight for her very life.
"Maybe-" Amblyn started, before she was interrupted by the frantic beat of hooves and a gust of ash that made her cough. Flummoxed by this event, she dared to glance backwards and saw one of the mares she'd been with - the tiny one - abandon them in a rush of flailing limbs.
"Wait!" she called, muscles tensing to follow. She couldn't. She couldn't leave the others with an even greater threat than what faced the small mare. "We mustn't split up!"
A filly from the Bachelor herd drew her attention and Amblyn nervously turned her attention back to them. Their numbers were dwindling and they couldn't afford more people deserting them. Though cowards would make awful fighters anyway.
"We come from the...Bachelors...to offer our assistance."
"Assistance? You teach plant lore to the barbarians of the Bachelor herd? I didn't know its stallions had time for that."
She probably shouldn't antagonize them, but fear made her mind sharp and her words sharper. Especially with the way the stallion was arching his impressive neck and looking at them all. He was no fool, she could see. Considering three mares travelled with him - were they his? - he'd have to be someone of importance. It made her scowl even harder. These fillies were but babes! Oh how she hated the bachelors and their customs.
"We mean no harm. I'm deeply sorry about that. I didn't mean to scare anyone. But I suppose I couldn't have expected a more reasonable reaction."
Amblyn glanced at him again, pondering his statements. Were they meant to lull them into a false sense of security? Her tail moved restlessly.
"Your words are laced with velvet. Handsome face and handsome words. I wonder if they speak truth, however."
