Jack trotted slowly to the water, gathering the petty puddle in a crusted lea, glad that it held up. He gently gripped it in his teeth, and hurried back to Fay, setting it near her mouth "drink some to help your throat" he encouraged, going over the rest of her body. Once back to the herd, he could help her better, but for now she would have tor est and just try to get her strength for the journey. He lifted his head and began to walk amongst the others, observing and assessing the damage that each horse had taken. Kayden was one of the worst off, but thankfully the bleeding had stopped, though he lost a fair amount of blood. Everyone in the group would need some degree of rest before the headed their separate ways. Jack turned to Ryder, and voiced this "everybody needs to rest before we move, if not, we may risk some not making it" he told Ryder quietly, looking at Fay, and then Kayden once more "the events of today took a lot out of everybody" he sighed quietly, wishing her could do more for the group of horses.
Right now though, he wished even harder that he could return to the herd, for...certain reasons. He was missing someone terrible, and could hardly wait to see them again, and tell of what happened at the Exiles island. He let a soft smile curl on his lips, before walking through the horses again, over any advice for their injuries.

A smile danced on Ace's lips for a moment at the sight of the burned out flames. He had helped to rid the Exiles of one of their many burdens and that made him happy, proud even. The Exiles may have a home to return to after all. In a few years time this land could very well be his home as well. Standing up tall he surveyed the damage done. A small patch of land had been rendered useless for the time being, but he was sure the Ash Bears would think twice before messing with the horses again. None of the horses had been fatally wounded or killed, only minor scrapes and burns. He highly doubted any one would leave this little endeavor with scars. Except maybe those two the bears had managed to swipe, hopefully those marks to would come to pass.
A relieved sigh escaped him and he quietly trotted to the stream. Drinking in the last sip of water for the day he turned.
"Let's go home guys," he said mostly to himself, "I think our work is done here for now..."
Walking towards the landrbidge he couldn't be more grateful that he would be heading safely home.
