"How is this possible?" The question ran over and over, around and around, in Alabaster's frenzied mind as he raced from the Olde's side of the land bridge and toward the ruins of the city. "That stallion had to have been lying!" his heart was beating out of his chest in a panic and adrenalin shot through his legs, urging him on. She was probably heading out of the city and into a field for the night with the rest of the herd. Probably. Unless of coarse that stallion had been telling the truth. In that case, what else was she keeping from him? What other unlawful things could she have done? No! He mustn't think like that! He would hear her out first and then...and then...he wasn't sure. If she had given herself up to that non-Olde horse she would suffer great embarrassment at the mercy of the herd should they find out. He shuddered as he recalled his initial trust in the exiles. Thinking back on it, he had been so stupid! One just couldn't trust other herds, The Great Compromiser had exiled them for good reason and the Olde should have recognized their presence as a test from the unicorns, they should have banished those unlawful creatures back to their cursed land! Alabaster's breath came out in ragged gasps and his chest heaved from his long run. His beautiful white coat was flecked with mud and debris, but for once he hardly noticed the mess he had made of himself. "Angelia?" he cried out hoarsely, still trying to catch his breath. A thin line of horses trailed from the looming ruins of the city, though from this distance he couldn't tell if Angelia was among them. Surely she would be able to hear him though. "Angelia!" he called again, hoping, praying, she was among them and not running amok on one of her adventures again. He wouldn't know where to find her. Worry shone in his dark brown eyes, what if she didn't want to talk to him? Was this even any of his business? They were friends, best friends, but what would make her confide in him something as...as delicate a matter as this? Truth be told, he loved her. He had for some time actually, but it had taken quite a lot for him to realize it. He had been trying to get up the nerve to tell her as of late. After suffering heartbreak twice before with other mares his confidence had been shaken and he had needed the guidance of friends. Now it looked like all his plans were shattered. She must not have returned his feelings and so instead looked to another stallion. He had to know the truth!

Angelia chewed on some mint leaves, trying to calm herself down. She didn't understand why, but she had a queasy feeling. Something didn't feel right... The Arabian mare walked alone around the city. It was calmer without any one. Although she wouldn't mind if Alabaster was with her. He always made her happy. Ugh he was so amazing... She was starting to feel he actually had feelings for her, the same she had for him. Hooves thudded loudly throughout the city. Angelia heard her name being called out. Alabaster. She held back a smile, something was wrong. His usually spotless coat was flecked with mud and dirt. Something was very, very wrong. She traveled back the way she came, pushing through the herd. "Hey, what's the matter." The mare whispered. "Let's walk." Pushing his shoulder slightly in the other direction. The herd was here, and it seemed he had something very important needed to spill out to her. He couldn't possibly know about Outlaw, certainly. He had stayed on Olde to rescue his niece. He couldn't have seen anything... No one was near her and Outlaw. She had made sure of that. And besides! Sh didn't have any feelings, well romantic feelings towards the stallion. She needed company, and Alabaster wasn't there, so she had to get a substitute. Yeah ok, maybe she had made a mistake. She had a fling, but nothing had come from it. "What do you want to say to me?" Angelia asked softly. His coat was throwing her off. That needed to be fixed. The mare used her air manipulation to blow off any loose debris that hung on his coat. "There," she mumbled. "Much better." She hadn't gotten everything off, her air manipulation couldn't do everything.

As he stumbled closer to the herd he averted eye contact with his curious herd mates who were clearly wondering what had sent their most hygienic advisor barreling their way in a tussled frenzy of dirt of rumpled hair. The not-so-snowy-clean stallion felt a massive weight lift off his shoulders as Angelia picked her way through the herd toward him. He was glad his run had given him an excuse to catch his breath, as he lost it again upon seeing her beautiful, pale face and gentle, playful gaze lined with long, dark lashes. Her wavy hair was perfect as usual, purple flowers knotted down the middle, and her tail seemed longer than it had ever been before. For a spit second, he forgot what he'd been so worried about, she could do no wrong. But then he snapped out of it as she brushed his shoulder and led him away from the herd. He was glad she was intuitive enough to tell he was distressed and couldn't speak in front of the herd, but then again, he'd made it pretty obvious by the state he was in. She smelled strongly of mint and he wondered if she was feeling ok. Sure the plant was a tasty snack, but some horses usually only nibbled on it if they felt under the weather. His niece had tried to teach him a thing or two about healing plants, but he barely retained most of what she said. It got so complicated. He was about to open his mouth a spill out his worries in a rush when a sudden blast of wind hit him like a blow dryer, his mane and tail went flapping, bits and pieces of twigs freed at last from his tangles (he faintly remembered crashing through a line of twiggy brush on his way)and his coat was cleansed of a fair amount of debris. He was grateful for the help, but further frazzled by having to wait. "Angelia!" he managed to gasp when the breeze faded. "I met a stallion by the land bridge..." he wavered, nervous about continuing but determined to know the answer. "He coat was white with strange black markings." He recalled the equine's most unusual coat, it had been odd indeed, he'd never seen one like it. "He...he claimed to...know...you." Alabaster nearly gagged on his last sentence, too proper an Olde follower to say it directly. "Is...I just wanted... I think...Could he be...Is it true?" he finally managed. "Were you...involved...with him?" he asked, his ears pinned back with apprehension, fearing her answer.

Angelia mumbled an apology, it seemed her air had hit Alabaster a little to harshly. She had just wanted it to be soft, and not causing his tail to fly behind him. "Sorry, sorry! Go on." She really didn't want to hear what he had to say, it sounded as if it would reflect her badly. She didn't want him to think ill of her... Alabaster soon brought up a strangely marked white stallion. Oh no. He did know. The mare let him contuined, but he said he knew her! Ugh Outlaw, you idiot. "Kn-knew me!?" she gasped out. She had to think of a way out if this situation. Yes, she had been sexually involved with him, but she had to say she did it unwilling. Rape! Perfect. "I have been sexually involved with some stallion in the past." Angelia mumbled, her stomach twisting nervously. This had to work, had to. Her ears pinned back on her head. "But it wasn't willingly." She adverted her eyes from his, and focused on the ground. Biting her lip she turned her face away from him. Acting as if she was ashamed, but she didn't want him to see anything that could betray her, which would mostly be her eyes. "I was just looking for piece and quiet, and I hadn't heard a stallion come up behind me." Angelia couldn't say that it wasn't Outlaw who mounted her, because if a foal were to pop up, it'd be obvious who the father was.

So that stallion had been lying after all. Alabaster was stunned. He couldn't think of what to say he was so torn. Should he be glad that she wasn't gallivanting around with total disregard for the rules or terrified of what it seems had happened to her? "Angelia, I'm so sorry." he finally managed. The white stallion took a step forward, watching her carefully. His niece had undergone a terrifying experience when she was kidnapped by the bachelors and had obtained a fear of stallions save for himself. Would Angelia be the same? But she had come when he'd called and didn't seem afraid of him, so he approached her after another moment and gently draped his neck around her own to offer comfort. "Why didn't you tell me sooner? The herd could have sent a patrol after him. But no matter, you were probably too scared after what happened. It's alright now though, he's long gone." His brown eyes half closed as he imagined what she must have gone through. No one around to help her. And what if...what if...well he would save that thought for later. "I wish I could have been there for you. Then this never would have happened."
(Ok so what if he proposes in this rp? and they are engaged...that way he's even more super upset when she's kidnapped xD)

(Ooc: that'd be perfect! :DD I keep forgetting to tell you this omg, but Sil said if we ever want to mention Outlaw, please don't use his name.)
Oh her sweet Alabaster, he'd fallen for it. Everything he did, made her fall for him even more, but she felt guilty. Angelia didn't want to lie to him, and what if he found out the truth? He'd never talk to her again. She held back tears, she really hated lying to him. Plus, what if she did end up pregnant, the herd would look at her as a slut. Why was she getting all emotional? She felt horrible about it, but that didn't seem it. Angelia didn't say a word as Alabaster apologized to her. What would she say? Ugh, she should've thought twice about mating with Outlaw. "I'm not afraid of stallions." She mumbled towards him. "Some just chose to do the wrong thing." Her eyes widened as Alabaster draped his neck around hers. He was actually showing affection to her, first. Although, she did feel safe near him. Not abusing the opportunity, she ran her head up the side of his neck. "The-Th-they," Great unicorns, what was she to say? "You weren't there." Tears fell down her cheeks. Why was she crying? She seemed emotionally fragile. Great unicorns. Pregnancy hormones couldn't possibly- No, don't think like that. "It was morning before I got to the herd, it was to late to do anything." Angelia gave an ugly sniff. Of course this was sort if the truth. She had met a band of Bachelor stallions, they didn't rape her, but it was quite traumatic none the less. "I know you would have." She whispered to him, closing her eyes to savor the moment. "I know you would have."

(ok Al isn't used to those kinds of names anyway so he will probably think it's a 'fake name' to cover Outlaw's identity and I guess Angelia could just pretend she doesn't know it) Oh dear. He should have expected this. He was pained at her stuttering, she must be so scared, and then he felt hot tears moisten his neck and mane. The poor thing! That awful horse...if only Alabaster had another chance he wouldn't have let him get away. He wasn't much of a fighter, but he'd surprised himself by rescuing his niece from the bachelors and defending a few friends from a cougar before, surely he could have taken down that dirty rotten stallion! He wasn't sure how long they stood like that, but after a while, Alabaster untangled himself from the embrace and stood before the mare, dipping his head. "I...I'm not sure if this is the right moment...in fact, it wasn't what I'd had in mind at all..." The pale stallion drifted off, still watching the mare. He couldn't wait any longer. And it had become clear to him that she needed him as much as he needed her. He wouldn't let something like this happen to her ever again! Something caught his attention and the stallion bent his long, elegant neck, gently tugging a purple and white petal out of his mane. He'd left the stargazer lily in his rush to see her, but somehow a piece of it had managed to cling to him throughout his reckless run. "Angelia, will you marry me?" he asked quietly, holding out the petal to her. "I promise, I won't let anything like this happen to you again." he added.

Angelia didn't want to leave the embrace. She felt safe here, like nothing could ever get to her. She was slightly disappointed when Alabaster pulled away. Right time for what? She questioned him in her mind. What could he possibly say to a sobbing mare? He stopped to pull out a stargazer lily from his mane. Did he always just keep flowers hidden away in his mane? She needed more flowers in her mane... Her eyes widened at the question. He-he had just asked to marry her. Great unicorns, she was going to faint, or throw up, or both. Her legs shaking, she took a step towards him. "I-you- I would love to." Angelia finally managed to said, more tears coming down her face, happy tears though. Pressing her nose against his, she whispered, "I love you." What did he see in her? She could easily be pregnant and she was nineteen, he was eight years older than her. She didn't have a doubt that he loved her, no, she was just... "I'm gonna be sick." she mumbled turning to run a little away from him. Angelia predicted that Alabaster wouldn't like seeing another horse throw up. Making it barely to some bushes nearby, she spewed. She vomited right after she had been proposed to, great unicorns, what a story that would make. Making sure she didn't have any puke resado left on her face, she stumbled over to a nearby tree. Folding her legs beneath her to lie down. She felt light-headed..

(Sorry for being so late aaaagh but I just love how this is going xD so romantic~ haha)
He felt a swell of relief as Angelia accepted his flower petal and confirmed her love. So it was mutual! Thank the unicorns! "I love you too-" he stopped short as she stumbled away and got sick in some bushes. Maybe it was just nerves? he tried to chide himself. He would probably vomit with excitement too if he proposed to himself, right? He pranced on his hooves and pursed his lips, he was no healer, he only knew a bit about flowers that smelled good for perfuming purposes. He tried a few times to say something but no words came out. Finally he approached where she had lay down, no longer ignoring his earlier premonitions. He glanced at her belly and noticed with growing concern that it was looking bigger than was normal for the petite Arabian mare. There wouldn't be any contractions, those didn't come until much later. He'd seen plenty of pregnant mares and still faintly remembered when his sister, Catrice had been with foal. "Angelia..." he paused, biting his lip. What if he was wrong? There was no use worrying her over something like this was it? But looking again at her belly he knew it had to be. With such a small, graceful build as hers it could be nothing but a baby bump, especially considering the circumstances. The white stallion kneeled down beside her, not quite meeting her eyes. "Angelia, I think you're with foal." he said at last.

Angelia laid her head on the ground in front of her, feeling horrible. She whimpering for Alabaster, she felt like shit and all she wanted to do was be cuddled. Perhaps take a nap… Alabaster finally walked over, although he said her name with concern. What could be possibly wrong now? He knelt down beside her, his eyes flickering over her stomach and back. Oh no… She didn't want to talk about this, not now. But it seemed unavoidable. At the mention of her carrying a foal, her bottom lip started to wobble. She was 19 and going to have a foal… This couldn't be happening. She was too young to become a mother. "I-" her voice cracked. Her body started trembling in fear. She was going to throw up again. "I-I know." Angelia whimpered. She didn't want it to be true, she wished it wasn't true. "Can we just cuddle?" She whimpered again, holding back tears. Not caring if she sounded like a little foal. "I don't want to talk about this right now." Or ever again. She had made a mistake, and now she was having to face the consequences, and she didn't want to talk about it.

Alabaster offered her a faint nod, his mind numb, and gently nuzzled her ears, pressing his cheek against hers and offering his warmth. He couldn't think of anything else to say, words felt meaningless, empty, at this point. They couldn't travel back in time to stop the incident. He realized numbly just how young she was to be experiencing motherhood, few mares besides those in the Bachelor herd conceived so early in their life. One of the youngest mare's he knew of to have a foal in his own herd had been his sister Catrice, but even she had been in her early twenties when she'd had Arabella. If he was being honest, he wasn't sure what to think. There was always the chance the foal might not make it, the experiences could have been to traumatizing or foal mortality rates might rear it's ugly head. But what if it did live? He doubted Angelia would want to give it away to the exiles, she'd probably want to keep it. Probably. And if that was the case he'd be a foster father to some other stallion's child, some other stallion's mistake. Could he bring himself to truly accept something like that?

Angelia snuggled closer to Alabaster, closing any gaps there were previously. Moving her head in front of the adviser, she gave a small smile up at him."What do you see in me?" She whispered, twitching her ears slightly. "I mean, you could've had any other mare, and yet you chose me.." Pressing her body against his, she closed her eyes. This being pregnant thing was hard work after all. "You're going to be used as a pillow, just by the way." He didn't have much of a choice, she was already quite comfortable.
The Arabian mare was already half asleep when she heard rustling in the bush she had threw up in earlier. What now. She hissed from her mind. Raising her head, she turned her head in the direction of the rustling. "Hey." Angelia said, pushing Alabaster's shoulder slightly, "Do you hear that?" She just wanted to make sure she wasn't going crazy or something. Pulling herself away from the white stallion, she started to make her way over to the bush. She stretched her neck, trying to see whatever had disturbed her sleep.

Any other mare? Like the one who died or the other who didn't return his feelings and got captured by bachelors in any case? Either way, he was glad the previous two hadn't worked out and he'd asked for Angelia instead. "Aside from being the most beautiful mare in Chevalin?" he asked, "Well where do I start..." he nickered, enjoying their cuddles. "You have brains to match and with your strategy and my diplomacy we make an excellent team, ready for anything. Your adventurous enough for the two of us and have enough spirit that you could probably survive the apocolypse. Also, most importantly of all, I'm in dire need of a personal hair-drier." he finished, feeling the mare nod off. He began to join her in sleep when a rustling caught his attention and Angelia awoke, ambling toward it. He was taken aback as she peered into the Bush without hesitating. He'd be too worried that some wild animal might leap out and attack his lovely face if he stuck his head into its Bush-home again after barfing in it.

Angelia parted the bush with her nose, avoiding the area were she got sick on. She didn't find anything, perhaps she was just going crazy. Turning away from the bush, she started walking back towards Alabaster. Grunting then caught her attention. That didn't sound good... She twisted her head around to see what could possibly be making that noise. She found a very angry male Bull Hog. "Alabaster," she said calmly. "Get up, and walk the other way." This hog did not look happy. Hopefully they could walk away slowly. That didn't seem like it'd be the case. Bull Hogs weren't exactly the most... Happy of creatures, especially when you get sick on their homes. You only make that mistake once. Twisting her body around ,she backed away from the hog slowly, soon reaching where Alabaster was. Angelia didn't really want to run, at all. She was very content with sitting and doing nothing. "Do you think we can get out of this without any conflict?" the follower whispered to him. Running away from an angry bull hog was not on her to do list.

(omg they are going to have the most memorable proposal date ever.)
Alabaster's ears pricked uncertainly at the odd note in Angelia's voice. Get up and walk the other way? Sheesh he knew pregnant mare's were moody but was this really necessary? Telling him to scram for no good reason. Confused, he heaved himself to his hooves but lingered by the tree. "Did I do something wrong?" he asked, clueless. Whatever was wrong it probably wasn't anything an apple tree couldn't fix, that is, if she wasn't to sick to eat them. "Oh! Do you need to be sick again? It's ok, you don't have to be embarrassed, I'll just turn away, see?" he bent his neck and pressed the side of his face to a shoulder. "Oh, conflict? Sure why not, like I daid we can just talk."
