(yes omg, so romantic.)
A small smile tugged at Angelia's lips, "You are extremely cute." She cooed. "There's an angry Bull Hog over there." She mumbled, nudging Alabaster's head away from his shoulder. "They're not the most friendly of creatures." The follower whispered in his ear. "Just..." Great unicorns, either they were getting out of here without any trouble, or this hog was going to come after them. Hopefully that first one. "Walk away slowly... Hopefully we'll just walk away, and it won't follow." She started to step back, pushing Alabaster's shoulder back as she did. Then, the Bull Hog charged. "Run, run, run!" Angelia screeched, pushing the adviser behind her, so he could get a head start. Yeah of course they could've stood their ground, but Angelia was in no shape to fight, and Alabaster wasn't fighting material. Neither of them were fighting material for that matter. It wasn't very long that was was attempting to scramble away, that she tripped over her own hooves. "Dammit." She muttered, trying to get up again. She had almost gotten up when weight and pain seared up her back. "Arghh!" Angelia screamed, attempting to rearing up, trying to shake off the hog. Great unicorns! Get this damn hog off of her! She couldn't raise her blood pressure, she couldn't do anything that could possibly hurt her baby.

Alabaster's anxieties from earlier that day would have to be put on hold and they drained from his mind surprisingly easily once Angelia mentioned an angry bull hog. He gulped nervously, glancing at the bush. Lucky thing they were Arabians, one of the fastest and most agile horse breeds across the islands, but neither were in much shape to speed away. Angelia was sick with foal and Alabaster had already galloped halfway across the island not long ago and the old wound on one of his front legs, despite no longer being visible thanks to the healers, was emitting a dull throb up the length of his canon. He suppressed a whimper as she nudged him away and he began to canter as she urged him on, but then he heard a dull thud and screaming, anticipating what he might see, the white stallion spun back around and nearly screamed himself when he saw the boar leaping atop Angelia. "N-no!" he yelped, stumbling forward in a weak attempt to help. "H-here piggy, piggy!" he called, desperately trying to lure the animal away. Did they come when called? He didn't think so. Such disobedient creatures! No manners! No civilization! Well. He'd had quite enough misbehavior for one evening. "YOU SIR ARE BEING REPROUCHFULLY DISRESPECTFUL!" He shouted loud enough to sway the beast's attention away from his companion and toward himself. Nothing a good tongue lashing wouldn't cure, in fact, this beastly creature probably hadn't been reprimanded all his life, he just needed a little discipline was all. Deep down, all creatures could see reason if proper training and a good solid schedule were in place, or so believed Alabaster. "YES YOU!" he shouted, commander style. "Remove yourself from the lady's back and-!" The bull hog snorted, paused, then charged him. Tsk. Well at least it had obeyed his orders. He turned tail and leapt away, ignoring the dull throb in in his leg as he leaped over a fallen log and toward a pond, veering away from the water at the last minute, he heard a splash as the bull hog thrashed about in the algae infested waters. He wondered how long it would keep the angry beast occupied. They were fast and strong, but lacked quick reflexes, maybe he could use that to his advantage.

"Alabaster.." Angelia grunted, her body sinking under the bull hog's weight. She couldn't afford to hurt her un-born child. "Get off of me!" She screamed at the hog, more tears gathering in her eyes. "Get off get off, get off!" Geez, she sounded like a whiny little foal when was pregnant. Great unicorns, poor Alabaster. How was he going to deal with her? Talk about commitment. Then the screaming started. Quite a proper voice. Hmm, she was going crazy. Her legs buckled underneath her, not being able to hold up herself and the boar. Almost as soon as her knees hit the ground, the weight was lifted off her back. Letting out a shaky breath she looked around for Alabaster. "Where-" The follower mumbled, narrowing her eyes. Where the hell had that stallion went. It's not like he could blend in with anything, he was snowy white. Getting up on wobbly legs with pain shooting down her back, she craned her next to where that hog went. Maybe he had gone after it? Almost immediately she saw his white figure. Giving a small smile, she stumbled over to the pond he was at. Angelia saw that the boar was in the pond... "Maybe it'll get stuck and drown or something?" Hopefully that would happen, she prayed it would happen. She couldn't deal with this hog anymore. "Let's go in the city, and go into one of the buildings, just in case it gets out." She really didn't want to endanger herself, Alabaster, or her child anymore. Besides they should have awhile to get down to the city, bull hog weren't light creatures after all. The Arabian mare flicked her ear as she waited for his reply. The sun was going down anyways, she didn't want to be caught out here in the dark.

"Agreed." Alabaster nickered wearily, plodding tiredly toward the looming stone structures along the horizon. The rest of the herd would be in a field somewhere for the night, but Alabaster didn't want to lead Angelia back there after what he'd learned, he wanted the two of them to stay together. Just the two of them. That way he'd have a little time to at least calm his mind and emotions by her side before they had to face the herd tomorrow, let alone the king. After something like this, he found it imperative to confide in king Vasska. Such an incident was his duty to report, though he would make sure no one knew of her identity. That way they could decide and plan for any further action on the matter. As they entered the city and clip clopped down the cracked asphalt path, Alabaster noticed a building he recognized from a previous venture into the city with his neice and a now deceased friend. His brown eyes darted warily over its rough and worn brick walls and shattered Windows resembling empty eye sockets. The the Gaping entrance a mouth to swallow them up. It was where he had been attacked by a cougor and his leg sliced so he couldn't walk, but he was almost certain the big cat had died in the scuffle that followed, though he couldn't be sure as it had been flung out a window and disappeared, but it was unlikely to haunt this place any longer. He shuddered to recall the memory. "Here will be fine." he said, motioning with a nod of his head to the building. It had heaps of ratty fabrics and moth-eaten manakins scattered across its floor, making for a soft bed if one pulled all the cloth together.

(I replied to the wrong damn topic at first jfc)
Angelia pressed herself against Alabaster as they headed away from the thrashing hog. She was completely and utterly done with anymore crazy nonsense today. The small scuffle had trailed her thought away from feeling sick. Now it was back, and that damn hog had scratched up her back. It wasn't anything serious, but it sure did hurt. Pastel colors streaked the sky, signaling the approach of nightfall. The the two walked in silence as they neared the city. She wished he would say something. This silence was very awkward. Soon though, the buildings loomed above them. It was cold and dark here, and there was always the possibility of being attacked by a cougar. Hopefully they would just find somewhere until morning, although it was preferred they didn't go deep into the city. Greater chance of rats and cougars. Her ears perked as Alabaster said something. She looked to where he had nodded. Looked cozy enough for the night. Gingerly stepping into the building, she studied the room. There was fabric littered across the floor, they looked cozy enough. Stepping farther into structure, she started to collect the ratty fabrics. After a few moments Angelia had pushed most of the ratty material into the center of the room. Giving Alabaster a small smile, she laid down on the fabrics. They were surprising comfortable. She waited for him to come lay down, maybe they could just talk for awhile, learn more about each other.

Trailing after the mare, he began gathering a few pieces of fabric for their pile and lay down beside her when they were done. He gently brushed his velvety nose along her silky mane in a gesture of comfort, but came to a sudden stop as he bumped into something hard and solid, something that was not at all hair. "Hold on!" was all the warning he gave her as he gripped the twig between his teeth and tried to yank it from the snarls of her wavy mane. This was not ok. Twigs belonged on trees not in horse manes! "I'll get it out for you!" he said determindly around the branchy priece of wood, still tugging.

Angelia felt warmth press against her side as Alabaster laid down beside her. She stifled a moan as he brushed his soft nose against her mane, her eyes closing in comfort. This was relaxing, especially after that boar scuffle. It didn't last. Her eyes sprung open when he warned her. "What-" she said in concern, her eyebrows knitting together. Her mane was tugged away from her head, what was he doing?! Was there something stuck in her hair?! It didn't matter to her much if there was something stuck in her hair. She could get it out later! Although it seemed Alabaster certainly cared. "I'm so glad.." She said through clenched teeth. Having her hair pulled was not a pleasant experience. She pulled her head away from his mouth, trying to get whatever was in her hair out. What seemed like an eternity, the tug on her hair ceased. With raised eyebrows, she turned to Alabaster who held the stick with her hair caught on it. "Was that really necessary?" She mumbled, pressing herself closer to him. "Now half of my mane is on the one branch!" Angelia exclaimed dramatically.

Alabaster was relieved to finally pull out the snagged branch. That would have driven him crazy all night if it had been there and he couldn't get it out! One day, he would convince her to become his business partner and they would make a career out of meddling in others lives by making them look fabulous, he just knew it. But until then, he had plenty else to keep them occupied, like the foal she was expecting. He still wasn't sure how to take that. It wasn't her fault...but still, what would it be like? What if took after it's father's criminal bloodlines? He nearly shivered at the thought. "Try and sleep well." he whispered at last. "We have a big day tomorrow. Be careful on your mission." he cautioned, though he doubted it was necessary. Really, what danger would they run into? The exiles and bachelors had already left the Olde island and they would probably only spot a few little forest critters. It would be like a peaceful stroll through the valley. A small sigh escaped his lips as he thought of his own mission. Again, he found it uneccasary, though perhaps just a general cation, as he had already seen the exiles hastening away with his own eyes. He doubted he'd need to chase any off, though he wouldn't regret it if he did.

Angelia pouted, giving a small snort. "The sun's barely gone down. And plus all we'll be doing is checking the landbridges." She was going back to her idea of getting to know him better, despite his wishes of wanting her sleep. Besides, it was much too early to go to sleep now. "And I know like nothing about you. I know you're handsome, I know you're eight years older than me." She mumbled sweetly, pressing her head against his. Hopefully he hadn't already fallen asleep, she was still going to babble. They were getting married after all, and she only knew so much about him. "Now let's see." Angelia drawled, "You could tell me... What your favorite color is, or your least favorite fruit." She'd get more personal things out of him later, useless facts for now. Of maybe they could play Truth or Dare if Alabaster wouldn't answer her questions. That game was always fun. Weird shit sometimes happened, but it was fun. Plus with that game, he'd be forced to answer her questions.

Alabaster's ears pricked in surprise. He felt he already knew plenty about Angelia. She has told him of her childhood, shown a great deal of spirit for adventure, and they had talked when on their walks, but he realized with a start that he had, for once in his life, been doing more listening than talking. Had he told her about his sister or his parents? Did she know where he hung out most or what he did as an advisor? "I like blue." He said at last. "And purple is nice too." He stated blankly at the wall decaying wall on the opposite end of the room, trying to think of what to say next. "And, well, I had a sister. I can't remember if I told you that?"

He seemed like a horse who'd like blue. Warm colors just doesn't seem like him. "You have a sister?" Angelia questioned, her eyes widening. Wow, he just proposed and she didn't know he even had a sister. "No, I don't believe you told me you had a sister or anything really." Were they rushing into this? They had only known each other for like, however long. Plus she was only nineteen, relatively young for someone to get married. Then she was giving birth to another stallion's foal. It took a special kind of weirdo to just put up with her. "Well now since you brought it up, you have to tell me everything!" Angelia said, smiling broadly. She had told him about herself, and all he ever told her how boring his childhood was.
