Eoos was pulling on Ivy plants as he snacked while exploring an area of the city ruins. He was asked by a healer if he could fetch some plants that were hidden in one of the old buildings. They would go but the patient they were curing was too sick to be left unsupervised. This gave him a chance to work on his tracking skills. Ears to the ground with his nose sniffing around, he followed the trail getting to one patch of plants to another. All smelled good to eat...but he was on a mission! Yet something made him stop as hie ears went up. Tracks?...Whose were these?..Could of been anyone really. He took a long sniff before sneezing. The bells on his legs chimed the further he walked along following the tracks. Maybe it was a spy!...Or maybe a unicorn!....less likely but it was still possible. Easily distracted he ventured on taking a rough path to the smell.

Patrolling the herd today led a bit deeper into the city's ruins. Most of the other Knights were near the herd so she often scouted ahead on her own to see what were nearby just in case. This also helped her with her newly attained gift she got a while back.She was still not use to it and had made barley and progress, though the mare was determine to get some use out of it by going into the city and practice if she came across any predators.Her ability that she attained was agility, she found it was much more use to be quick on her hooves.
Secretly inside the Grullo mare wanted to fight with some Cougars, though luck does not seem to be on her side as she trotted around the city. She passed several plants and vines while she looked for unexpected creatures besides thoughs filthy rats. Tamera's ear perked up as she heard so distance noise which sounds that reminded her of bell chiming.
"Who could be out this far? It can't be a herd member now can it, no why would one of them go out this far without someone escorting them?" |

Eoos snuffed up the tracks hoping to figure out the one whose responsible for leaving such a bold trail. It smelled of sweat and mud from other places; not just the city itself. Probably from either the grasslands or the beach...who knows it could of be either one. He was still learning o tell the difference between a squirrel and a rats tracks. The bells rand echoing on the stone walls of the surrounding ruins.The mule rather have been with the rest of the herd today but he felt like wandering a bit. It was a habit of his, the only thing that stopped him was the land bridge. His nose wriggled as he drew closer and closer to the mare. Though he failed to look up as he sensed something tickly on his muzzle...vines?.. Eoos looked up to find the mares tail as he drew in a breath to sneeze! Hey those hairs were awfully ticklish after all.

Before the mare could reacted to the slight moment of her tail, a sneezed broke out behind her. She jolted a bit as she looked back to who it was that touched her long twisted tail that often held high due to her arabian mix blood. To her surprised it was one of the mule that belongs with the herd.
"Why were you sniffing my tail, don't tell me you are a pervert!?"
her cheeked flush a tint of red as she tuned back to see the mule hasn't looked up as of yet after the sneezed.
She stopped in her train of thought and shook her head furiously trying to get rid of her flushed cheek. Tamera came to a sudden stop as she remember something.
"Why are YOU out here,umm whats your name?"
the mare trying to change the subject started to have an angry tone that stopped half way as she did not know the mules name. She has seen him many times but never knew what he was called.
Tamera didn't know what was up with this odd mule, though what she though in her mind at the same time was why did she even jolted when he came. She often is most alert even when she spaced out for a bit, she mentally blamed herself for begin a careless idiot. |

The mule shook his head from stray hairs that got caught on his face as he looked over at the mare. Oops. He made her blush! He pulled his ears folded back as he moved backwards as well. Hey he had seen her before too, just never in the herd always on patrol so it looked like. But how embarrassing! He flustered a bit apologizing with some hoof taps and scraps on the ground. He included a nervous smile to the mix. Wait...could she understand him? Probably not.
When she asked for a name he hesitated a bit. That was a tricky question. Only a few members of the herd knew his actual name. It wasn't like he could blurt it out. He looked around for a stray stick. Oh a branch..that will work~ He walked over grabbing it by his teeth giving it a good tug till it snapped off. How he spelled his name was a bit unique. Flipping the stick around to have the sharp point to the ground he used a mud patch to draw up a sun. He was named after daybreak anyways.

She blinked several times as her head was to one side not understanding what the mule was trying to get across. Wait he's not saying anything only showing body language, is he mute then? Thought like these arose from her head. She tried to composed herself once again, it has seem it was embarrassing not just just her as she swore she couldn't have seen him fluster as well and was that a nervous smile just now?
She was waiting for his reply which doesn't seem to get anywhere soon as the Mule searched for something.
"What are y- oh never mind I think I understand. You can't speak right?" She said as her eyes followed his movements which landed on a stick as the male picked it up and starting to draw something in the mud flat nearby. Tamera walked around him a bit trying to figure out what the male wanted to show her, was he going to try and write his name? Heck even Tamera doesn't really no how to write it she only know how to pronounce it like many others.
"So your named after the sun then?" she asked him curiously |

Eoos rose his head after drawing the small sun. He nodded in response stomping his hoof once. Looks like she got the message about him being mute. He couldn't write nor read, he couldn't only draw pictures at the moment. He was pretty satisfied with the drawing it was better than most of the suns he drew.
But back to business, he looked at the other mare checking her out as he trotted about her. This mare was strong, than he could tell just by looking. She was the closest to his coat color, and she probably needed to move her mane out of her face to see more. He moved in closer sniffing her as the bells chimed. Tilting his head he approved she was a pretty mare. But he needed to see more of that face...so..instead of asking...his curious self decided to blow on her face.

There were not many name meaning of the sun so she guessed randomly. The mare tried her best not wanting too call him by the wrong name. Though if she thought back a few months earlier she heard another horse called a mule Eoos, could this be that same mule she overheard someone called their name?
"uh is your name Eoos then, since we don't have many named after the sun." She asked looking down at him a bit. If they were standing side by side she was obviously taller then him.
She looked at him weirdly as he trotted around her, was she that different that he was looking at her from all angles? Its true she isn't around the herd as much begin away patrolling often but most have seen her before. She found it amusing how every step he take his bells would chime in a soothing way. It reminded her of birds chirping on a a sunny day while everything was peaceful like it has been a few months back. As the mule who happens to be a similar color to her gurllo coat leaded in to sniff her she stiffen up as if she was self-conscious now and her ears pulled backwards. Though as she tried to avert her eyes else where she posted a dark patch which seemed like a scar perhaps on under his neck. Tamera couldn't help but stare a little, but as she was starting at it what hit her next was a blow of air on her face that caused her mane on her right side flew up a bit revealing her right side of her face was. This caused her to rear up slightly out of surprised one can see her scars on her right side of her body.
"Whoa there why did you do that?" She said trying to blink her eyes serval times to get some of the dust that went into her eyes when he blowed at her, not sounding angry or anything. |

He nearly reared up himself as she backed off some. He just wanted to see if she was just hiding the other eye cause she was missing one? But nope she had both eye alright~ But she was blinking. Oops..did he get her eyes dirty? Stupid move, he thought
. He tried blowing more on her face but it look like he was making it worse...plus he was just a tad bit short.
The mule perked up when she called him by his name. Wagging his tail and nodding quickly to it, it was for sure that was his name.
The mule then looked around to hep get rid of the dust from her face. He had to be responsible for his actions after all. Rearing up he reached for a branch that still had its leaves on bringing it over to her. He thought maybe if he brushed out some of the dust she could see better. Shaking his head he 'painted' on the mares face. For sure that dust would come out now.

The more Eoos blew in her face it wasn't helping at all, this made the itching sensation more worse. The mare tried to rub her eyes with her legs but this method didn't seemed to have any effect either.
The Grullo mare barely watch as when she saw the Mule nodded quickly to what she said briefly before as his body language shown happiness. This was shortly lived however as the next thing Eoos did was grab a branch with leaves on it and 'brush' the mares face, in the process it seems like some of the smaller branch scratched her inner nostril and this made her have the urge to sneeze. As the mare started to take in a huge amount of oxygen she had to hurry and try to sneeze elsewhere or it would end up in the Mules face.
"ah-aahh choo!"
It had seemed that having a giant sneezed helped her get rid of her dust problem as well...
"I-I think I am alright no- OH I am so sorry!!" As she opened her eyes she was horrified and embarrassed. Tamera had thought she moved in time to sneezed elsewhere but it seemed like that wasn't what happen. Her face flushed bright red like a rose as she apologized over and over to the Eoos.
In her attempts to make things right she trie licking his face clean out of her own nervous instincts. Today was defiantly not her day she can't remain calm or composer like she often show to others. Its not like she knows much to begin with she was a bit awkward when it came to having a normal conversation with another horse...well in this case it was a mule who couldn't speak.

The mare was making faces with her muzzle, maybe it was working! BUt the mule got more than what he wanted as the saliva and other unwanted substances on his face. The mule frozen keeping the branch in his mouth. Eww....this was gross...he stuck out his tongue to express the icky sensation on his face...but that made it worse cause he tasted it!! He dropped the stick as he shook his head trying to rid it. But it stuck on.
He didn't want to show that mare that her slobber wasn't exactly bon appetite. The mule however has his ears flip straight up as the mare started licking his face. She was kissing him!! The mule flustered a brighter shade of red. This was his first kiss. 'OMG shes kissing me shes kissing me....shes really kissing me!' thoughts raced into his head. At least he was getting a free bath~ That he can't complain.

After a few more lick the slobber that was all over the mule's face were completely gone. As she moved to distance herself from the male she notice he looked as if he was stunned and his face was dusted red like she was moments before. She thought to herself why he would be flustered when she was the one more embarrassed...then it had occurred to her that when a horse lick another it usually means kissing that significant other. 'Wait...t-that means I JUST KISSED HIM!' her brain was trying to comprehend what she had just done and it made her all confused. She had never kissed anyone before nor did something like this ever happened. What was she going to do now?
"uh thanks from trying to get the dust out of my eyes... What are you going to do now I mean it seems I took up your time."
'Great now what am I saying! why can't I just talk like normal...' She mentally yelled at herself. The mare started to swing her tail from side to side while waiting for him to answer by his body language.

Eoos stood there stunned a bit as the mare talked. Wow...that was interesting...but the mule quickly snapped out of it as she asked what was he to do now...
CRAP! That errand! He was suppose ot be looking for those herbs! The mule looked at her ans stuck his nose to the ground sniffing around before digging out a shape of a sprout on the mud. He was trying to say he was searching for a plant. He knew the color of it but didn't know how to say it. He dug more detail picking up the stick again editing the sprout by adding a bell shaped flower. Then dug a big square adding dots...it was suppose to be a building. He dragged the point making a line towards the plant drawing.

Looking down at the ground Tamera found that he was drawing to which looks like some sort of flower thingy and he drew what seemed like an arrow to a box like thing...'wait was that a human building?'she thought to herself before waiting for him to finish the picture to fully understand what the mule wanted to tell her.
"so are you going to find a plant or flower near the building then?" she asked him as he was now looking up at her. 'it must have been he was sent on an earn no less' the thought crossed her mind and she awaited for him to nod in approval or shake his head.

Eoos quickly nodded to her answer as he then started to explain what was it for. He drew out a bottle, an arrow connected to the previous picture then drew a stick figure horse with Xs for eyes....then added another arrow to connect. The plant was for a sick foal he tried to say. His nose sniffed the air. Oh! It was that plant! He sniffed wandering away from Tamera a bit. Of course the mule wasn't aware of any dangers that could possible be there at the moment.
