A getaway from it all. From all the talks of war and chaos. As much a he liked to give out his opinion of the war...he can't. Well no one really understands his chaotic jingles on his bell brackets but he could only guess they understood his emotions prior to the war. Eoos wandered off from the large groups and decided to venture. It wasn't out of the ordinary Eoos liked to explore. He loved it. He never went off of Isle of Olde though. He ended up in the SilverWood today. He brushed his lips on the low branches sneaking a few bites off of the leaves. He was an eating machine. His bells chiming to his every trot, so any horse around the area knew where he was..if there were any around.

Nero was training. Something he always did when he wasn't busy with other duties. Especially since the Silver Wood was his favorite place in all the island. Luckily it was where mages were expected to train, so he was here. It was beautiful in the spring. Small buds were springing up everywhere and bright green bulbs on the trees were beginning to open into lovely, succulent leaves. It was warm and pleasant, and quiet.
The stallion was slick with sweat and grunting as he practiced. He would buck and spin around and pierce the air with his fore hooves. Then he would jump up and pull leaves from the trees with a quick jerk of his neck. All skills he would need when war came. Being a defender mage, he would surely be called upon, no matter how badly he didn't want to have to fight. The stallion panted after a rigorous set of exercises and walked over to the stream, taking a long cool drink.
It was then a curious sound hit his ears. The sound of bells jingling softly a little ways out in the wood. Nero could've sworn he'd heard the sounds before. Around the herd, in the city, during her meetings, but he had never put a face to the sound. Today he would. He followed the bells until the point he felt he was on top of them, but then they stopped. "What the...?" he exclaimed and looked around, sniffing the air to see if he could catch anything.

Oh those succulent flower buds, how they exploded in flavor in his mouth as he gazed a flower patch of it. As pretty as they were going to be, many victims were digesting in his stomach. He kept his ears perked up listening around. His bells were still heard echoing through the trees. He reared up on a tree trunk digging his hooves, keeping them trimmed so to speak. Too bad the blueberry bushes were covered in berries yet...oh well...maybe he'll have some after the war.
Which was a huge question...would they let him fight? They already laid him off from knight training. His bells were helpful but a dead giveaway for unsuspecting enemies. OH well.
He continued on listening for a river. Ah, maybe a cool drink will ease his hungry mind. He trotted over moving his big head through the thick brush. HOwever he paused smelling sweet daisies before eating them near the stream.

The sounds of the bells continued, bouncing over the silver laced trees and echoing through the depths of the wood. The large stallion continued following them, incredibly curious. When he found the source of the ringing, he was surprised. It was a mule, one he had seen around the herd. After all, mules were so rare they tended to stick out a bit from the background. Nero snorted and walked out of the brush on the opposite side of the river from the male mule, dipping his head to take a drink before addressing the follower.
"Hello," he said calmly before lifting his head from the water. He hadn't realized how thirsty the training had made him. "What brings you so far from the rest of the herd?" Nero was curious. It was rare for followers to leave the bulk of the herd. It really wasn't meant to happen, but as long as the remained on the island, Nero didn't mind.

Eoos's speech might of been held back, but his earring wasn't as restricted as he popped his head up listening on. It sounded like someone was approaching. Someone from his own herd he hoped. Turns out it was. As Nero approached he seemed to relaxed. It wasn't a bachelor after all. The younger stallion looked exhausted. He must of been training hard to be sweating that much. He went back to drinking the water. As Nero greeted him he responded with an ear flicker, his way of saying hello as he lifted his head. But the other question he found hard to answer with words. He merely clanked his teeth, which meant hungry or grass. He liked coming here to eat as he found an acorn to eat off the ground.
