Ryan lazily walked around Summer fields. It was his day to check the area, chase off loners, and kill predators that got in the way. It was all a bore to him. Cain had decided to change up the tasks in the herd, instead of watching the mares or just clearing to large of obstacle for other horses to move he was here. Just as he thought of turning back and heading home he smelled a foreign scent. The draft lifted his head and looked around. 'Exiles.' He thought finally placing the scent. He inwardly groaned to himself before following the scent to its owner. "Lousy freaks. Feeding on our land. Taking over our island." He grumbled aloud, crashing though the bushes with his large body.

Gaius | The Exiles | Guard
The flaring sun shone down on a golden coat of the dunalino that trudged through the grassy plains of the Eastern Island. Legs taking strong, yet leisured strides, moving across with no intent nor purpose. The stallion clearly took a pleasured stroll around the Summer Fields, still keeping in mind of the dangers that lurk about. It had become a habit for Gaius to be wondering so lazily in the evening, not doing much of anything. His curiosity had always gotten the better of him no matter how hard the Hanoverian tries to do as little as possible. Still being new to the Bachelor's territory he had taken the liberty of doing a little 'site see', and while venturing further, he kept a cautious mind set to not disrupt the natural order of the herd; it would be a tiresome task to get in and out of trouble. He wanted nothing to do with the barbaric horses.
Stopping a few feet from a scattered part of forestry on his right, The Guard took the opportunity to graze for a bit to regain the little energy he had within him. Clipping the blades of grass he crewed slowly, ears flicking back and forth to any noise that erupted in the background while his eyes were focused on the lush greenery in front. But it had seemed the time was not in his favor as the dunalino heard rapid movement heading towards him, at a pace he didn't like for the most part- it sounded almost seeking. And he was it's target. Rearing his head up quickly he skidded to the on coming movement, narrowing his golden eyes and taking in a stance of hostility while he waited.
'I swear to the unicorns I'm not in the mood for this' Gaius thought bitterly to himself.

Suddenly Ryan exploded from the brush, coming face to face with Gaius. Once he stopped moving he let out a small snort than gave his head a small skake, forcing his black mane to whip back and forth. "You Exile freaks are everywhere." He grumbled to Gaius. Ryan looked over the stallion, quickly assessing the trespasser. The brute was taller than the dunalino stallion and more muscular, but the exile would probably be faster like that no good Cethin. The buckskin's green eyes scanned the surrounding area, seeing no other horses with the exile a small smirk sat upon his lips. His shadow flickered, feeding off his annoyance, he still wasn't the best at keeping his gift in check. To often did he let his emotions have control over it. Just as he was thinking about attacking he remembered his Kings words 'Do not bring harm to the Exiles, they are.. 'Treasured guests.'
Night would fall soon, Ryan made the assumption the Exile would head back one the moon was high. "You're like the plague." He spat. "Appearing everywhere. Bringing misfortune with you. I hate when you horses cross my path." He said, challenging the Stallion in a way, waiting to see what those comments would do, would they sting? Or would they bounce off like he had never said anything.

Gaius | The Exile | Guard
Gaius flinched when a bulky figure appeared violently from the nearby bushes and now stands in front of him- trying to be intimating he gathered. Sadly, the Dunalino was unfazed by the stallions body language; it was expected for a bachelor. With that he decided to give him a quick look over, sizing him up, noticing the six year age gap between each other and luckily he was much taller than the other. He couldn't help but smirk at the new discovery. Sure this stallion would probably be a power-house of strength but the Guard can most like out run his sorry excuse before he even lays a hoof on him. However his smirk dipped into a irritated sneer as he listened to the Bachelor's words.
"So, he must hate the Exiles, huh?" he thought to himself, blocking out Ryan's little rant. "Geez, this guy's obnoxious..."
"Do you honestly think that I care of your opinion?" The Exile replied bluntly in a monotone voice, not once blinking as his facial expression was slatted clean: blank. "And do you honestly care what my herd is doing? Not all of us are plagues, kid.. Some of us were just swept with the tide."
The pale stallion made sure that his point was cross, and that his words were no affect to him personally; not once irking him. Honestly Ryan had picked the worst member of the Southern Isle to rant to, to explode in his face about how messed up his herd is, because, he didn't care. He didn't care what his herd did or what they are like- It's not like he really wants to stay in that dump anyway- he had his sights set on a different herd and thrived to succeed in transferring over. He- honest to the unicorns- believed this brute was a complete and utter idiot for his choice of actions.
"If you have a problem with the herd- than please- find someone else to harass" He countered, moving away from the Bachelor to make his way back to where he had originally came from, not wanting nothing to do with Ryan. And as he began to trot away he made sure to shove the stallion aside slightly; not threatening- just being sure that his own power was known to the younger and to leave him be.
"See ya, kid."

Ryan watched with slight curiosity, hearing and seeing Gaius' reaction he let out a snort. "I care that their on my herds land." He said with a flick of his tail. Hearing the Exile call him a kid made his muzzle wrinkle with distaste. 'Kid?' he thought. 'Kid??' he thought angrier now. The drafts ears flicked back to the dunalino stallion, brushing off the comment about him being a kid.
He watched as the hanoverian turned to leave. Hearing him say kid again made Ryan's eye twitch. "Old geezer." Ryan snapped. "I'm not allowed to leave you alone till you are back to where your herd is." he added. "So your stuck with me." 'Hah!' Ryan thought, 'this stupid exile's probably gonna get lost.'
