It had been a long day so far. The sun had only just peaked above the City's skyscrapers and had only just cast it's glow throughout the pretty, mossy, streets. It was serene. It was lovely until Scarlet felt the world give out under her in one step. She shrieked as she realized the stone had slowly turned into a little wooden bridge that was held only a few feet above a little stream. The splinters cut into the mare's leg, but there was no immediate surge of pain. No broken leg. That was Scarlet's biggest fear. A broken leg could end a life quickly. The mare though was left kneeling on the bridge however, the rotten board having given out under her weight.
"Anyone! Please! I have fallen through a tree-path! Help me!" Scarlet screamed with all her might, hearing as her words rang through the city streets. It would be a wonder if anyone could help the mare. Her purple gaze scanned her surroundings, finally landing on a small form.

Dancer yawned and shook out her short mane. She loved how her hoof-steps sounded on the streets of the City. It was such a strange sound, as they bounced off of the buildings around, especially as they changed in height. The little dunskin had barely escaped her father to come to the City that morning, but in the end, he had let her go. She smiled gleefully as she jumped over a small crack in the road, giggling as she landed and the sound echoed around her. A mares voice cut through the echo, and made Dancer looked around. She spotted a dark coated mare stuck in the bridge. She trotted over.
"Um... Are you stuck, Miss?" She asked, her bright blue eyes looking into her pink ones. "The tree-paths aren't very safe and give away more often than not. A few others have been caught in them as well." She smiled at the mare with an innocent filly filled smile.

Scarlet watched as the youngling approached. Her purple eyes bore into the filly's soul. Xoria had already lectured the young mare about the problematic scenarios in the Fallen City, it was just... why would young Scarlet have to worry about them. Alright, so the filly did look rather sweet and kind. Some chose to actually bear a child, Scarlet was forced to eat a herb that, well it pained her heart to think of what it did. Even if she were so clueless to the world, she still knew the difference between a life and that of one which was dead. A death was mourned, life was celebrated.
"Ah yes, could you come and knock out the board around my hoof, I should be strong enough to be able to pull it out from there." She smiled faintly as she motioned to her bloody and scarred leg. Oh how she hoped the filly had the strength to get the board broken and then, and then Scarlet would be free to go back to doing the things she did best.

Dancer walked carefully onto the bridge. She looked closely at the board. "I won't be able to break it up here, but I might be able to from the river side," she said, looking up to Scarlet. The little dunskin jumped down into the river, giggling as the water splashed up to her belly. She walked under the bridge and looked to the board holding the older mares leg in place. She turned on her front hooves and kicked out the board.
"That should do it!" Dancer said, coming back to the bridge to see if Scarlet could get out now.
