Plot Months prior, Olde marched on YOUR home and killed YOUR friends and family, not to mention gravely wounded your leader. It is time for them to face retribution - it should be swift and deadly, no lives spared. It is time for you to finish what those prissy, Unicorn-loving fools started.
Time of Day/Weather Late Evening/Crisp and Chilly
Team Captain Apollo (Whitew0lfs)
Team Members Cethin Ryan Leviticus
Checkpoints Reached: None Rules: 1. The Captain of the team must post first. 2. A posting order must be kept as people enter the rp. 3. No god-moding 4. React to the Checkpoints as they come! (If you don't know what a checkpoint is - don't worry - you'll know when they come!) 5. Communicate with your partners! 6. Have fun!!!! How the posting order works: Apollo must post first. Anyone can post after Apollo. They can post back and forth until someone else posts, when someone else posts they must be entered into the posting order. Example. Apollo Cethin Apollo Cethin Apollo Cethin Ryan Apollo Cethin Ryan And so on. This means you do not have to wait for someone to join, but once they do their first post you must wait for them.

A cold breeze whirled around the four stallions, salt riding the wild current of wind straight into the palomino’s flared nostrils. Apollo’s blue eyes looked upon the blue tides rolling in, the color of the ocean and his eyes held the same color – albeit his blue gems occupied a grim stance, revenge fueling his lethal gaze.
His attention drifted back to the three stallions that stood before him, eyeing each of them before beginning to speak. “Cain has entrusted us with the task of executing any horse that we come across while in the Olde territory.” The palomino cleared his throat of a southern drawl that he felt forming in his voice, “We are to do this quietly and as quickly as possible, although taking them out in a ghastly manner is an option –it’d certainly be an amusing sight for those who find the body.” The corners of his mouth curved into a smug smirk, his grim sense of humor tickling the back of his throat.
Apollo worked his jaw, clenching and unclenching it as he thought of the possible questions that might be bubbling inside of them. However he continued with his brief speech, hoping to end all this blabbering and get into the action rather soon. “Do not hesitate to take out anyone you come by, whether it be a foal or mare. Take them out with the same passion you would with any other individual. We’ll leave them regretting ever laying hooves on our brothers and sisters.” The behemoth knit his eyebrows together in focus, hoping that they were attentively listening to his commands. He called them out by name, flavoring the way their names tasted in his mouth. “Cethin, Ryan, Leviticus.” Apollo paused before droning on, “Do you all understand? If not, speak now while you have the opportunity.” A fierce gush of wind slapped the large elite, causing his muscles to irritably twitch under his golden coat.

The black stallion had been slowly taking in the team gathered. Leviticus, Apollo, and Ryan, of all horses that stupid oaf. The only reason he had won sparring was because Cethin was confined to the fact that he wouldn't try to injure a warrior in the battle. If there had been no such restrictions... The stallion shook the thought with regret. If only. His gaze returned to the rest of the team. Levi and Apollo were both skilled warriors and were tall and brutish in a way. Cethin knew not of Levi or Apollo, yet the captain seemed to speak like a snake. With hidden malice in his words and the opportunity to send chills through a horse's blood. The drawl of a voice brought Cethin to a reality. “Cain has entrusted us with the task of executing any horse that we come across while in the Olde territory.” The stallion was not surprised, nor taken aback. He was here to show the Olde horses that they could not bring the battle to the Bachelor homeland and expect and easy out. Vengeance would have to be taken.
"Sir, I am gifted." The black stallion, Cethin, spoke as Apollo, the light cream colored horse, finished explaining the need for stealth and speed.
"I can shift to a form of a stag, if stealth is needed just give me the word. Those that find bodies will find the hoofmarks and gore marks of an animal other than a horse." Cethin smiled grimly before taking a step towards his captain again, his orange eyes glinted with malice and a seeming cruel joke.
"Or, do we wish for them, the herd of foul believers, to see our hoof marks and know we are here to pick them off one by one?" Cethin had his fair share at playing the loner escaped from the Bachelor herd to many an Olde horse. They were so easy to fool, so easy to attack. Other than their mages and knights, they were a herd of weaklings. Picking them off would be an enjoyable pastime for the brooding stallion.

Leviticus felt the wind blow at the side of his body like it .His bangs and mane whisped about as he stood there with the other two staring with his blue eyes at Apollo. His ears forward hearing him though the wind flying at his ears. He would lean on the left two hooves. He twitched his scared snout. Apollo was speaking a motivational speech and explaining what was to come of it. He was excited about this objective it seemed like the type made for him. He liked fights and found joy in it for the most part. Not necessarily all the pain that accompanied it but the satisfaction of winning. The victory and rush come from it. It what a true stallion did fought for what’s theirs and fighting to keep it. Though him and Apollo never seemed to see eye to eye half the time they were together. They always fought and most times teetered on full out brawls with the stallion. So he would like to see if this one task Apollo and him could actually get along. Though he still thought Apollo a mare sympathizer. Cethin and Ryan he didn’t meet or interacted with them much. He knew they were to be trusted.
Hearing Apollo speak about killing all the olde that they come by via it being Foul to stallion. he raised his brows in interest. Apollo may have changed after the months he hasn’t interacted with him. He would flick his tail a bit. He was getting excited about this stand on all of his hooves he would lift his head more. Feeling the sea breeze hit his face smelling the salt in the air. He would step forward towards Apollo his head high and he had a smirk on his face.
“I think we got the proper team for this.” He would speak low his tail swished. Then he heard Cethin speak and he would look at him. This one must be full of ideas. Levi wasn’t much of a tactician. He was mostly muscle, too stubborn for his own good to give up a fight and tries to over power. Stealth wasn’t his thing but he will try best he could to be quiet and quick about it. he could be quick in his beatings that wasn’t the problem. He didn’t speak up on any plans. He was there to cause as much damage as possible. He was very alert now and wanted to move. (word count 421)

Ryan watched as the palomino stallion talked, addressing everyone in the small band of bachelors. Feeling a sudden crisp gust of wind he shook his large head, then looked over to his comrades with a back leg cocked. His green eyes carefully picked over the other horses. Apollo was roughly his height and while he was angry Ryan had heard he cared a little to much for mores, Cethin was small and had been his sparring partner 'runt' Ryan thought to himself.. The black stallion knew what Ryan could become, yet he did have a good point about using his sifting power. He looked to Leviticus and saw he too would have been a formidable opponent but didn't know anything other than that. Ryan turned his large head and looked to Apollo again.
Upon hearing Apollo say 'Taking them out in a ghastly manner is an option' a large grin split over the draft stallions face. Murder and bloodshed, he was good at those, and Cethin knew almost all to well, almost. "I don't know about being 'quick' and 'quiet', I wasn't bred for that," He said talking about his body structure, "but I can make their deaths slow and painful." He said darkly. His grin turned into a smug smirk "And while I enjoy Cethin's Idea.. Well we should let them know that it was in fact us that killed their friends and family." Ryan added. He knew he would have to be careful around Apollo. But once the first drop of blood was spilled, Ryan could turn it into a full on blood bath if given the word, now that he was good at. Another blast of cold hit Ryan but his, still thick, coat blocked most of it, it was more annoying than cold.

Blue eyes settled on Cethin as he began to speak about being gifted, Apollo’s ears swiveled forward- attentively listening to his offering.
"I can shift to a form of a stag, if stealth is needed just give me the word. Those that find bodies will find the hoofmarks and gore marks of an animal other than a horse."
The elite quirked his brows, that’d be an interesting sight no doubt about that although it’d be better to know they were being hunted; no words can explain the fear a horse feels knowing they are being stalked or the possibility of being preyed upon. Although before he could reply the black stallion continued, causing the pangare stallion to hold his tongue.
"Or, do we wish for them, the herd of foul believers, to see our hoof marks and know we are here to pick them off one by one?"
Apollo began to bob his head in agreement as words stumbled out of Cethin’s mouth although his attention was now on Ryan – whom was inspecting him like a piece of meat. His blue eyes met his green orbs and stared him down for a while before he began to speak.
"I don’t know about being ‘quick’ and ‘quiet’, I wasn’t bred for that, but I can make their deaths slow and painful. And while I enjoy Cethin’s idea ... Well we should let them know that it was in fact us that killed their friends and family.”
He considered their proposals and eventually broke the silence with his hoarse voice, “I appreciate the proposal of using your gift, Cethin, however we are here to make our presence known but not seen.” His robust figure shifted its weight as he started to get a tad impatient standing around on the open shore; much like sitting ducks. “You are to be as quiet as you’re allowed to, trust me. I am not built for stealth but I have learned to cope.” Apollo paused, arching his neck as he felt his crest twitch due to the cold crisp breeze. “As far as a slow and painful death goes. I think we’re better off making it quick. We can mangle the body after, as if we tortured the individual rather than during the killing as they’d surely make noise and draw attention.”
Apollo snorted, finally trotting closer to the dense, brown soil ahead – throwing a side glance at the three behind him. “Keep yourself in check; don’t torture them until after they have fallen limp. And most importantly, don’t stray off.” The mammoth raised a hoof carefully and planted it back onto the land, relishing in the dense soil – a grin almost instantly spreading across his face. This was going to be fun.

No matter what course of action Apollo had wanted him to take, Cethin was more than pleased to carry it out. The stallion turned his cold gaze onto Ryan, dislike pouring from his features. No matter how much the stallion disliked the other though, Cethin could not deny the fact that Ryan was a good a fighter as any. By the time Cathie's hooves felt the sweet brush of Olde grass again, such a change from the sand-cobble land bridge and salty beach, did he flatten his ears and watch all the horses intently.
"Sir, I doubt that any of us would so much as think to ruin such a carefully laid out mission." The horse said with glinting eyes yet no voice of disrespect as Apollo told them to stay in check, Cethin would break laws, but he never would kill a tactical mission. After all Tactics was his favorite thing to study. Then he began to pick his way through the grasses behind his Captain, Apollo. The tall stallion towered over Cethin, as did all the others, yet seemed much smarter. Tactical. Someone that Cethin would personally find enjoyment in talking with. He took a glance back at Leviticus and flicked an ear in subtle greeting, as he had not greeted the other stallions when they began the mission.
"Sir, where do you think we will be hunting, the woodlands for cover?" The stallion's voice was hardly a whisper, more like words that had been spoken, but lost on the wind long ago,
"or in their precious City where there is sure to be many roaming about?" Both suggestions were fair. With Cain on high alert, he felt as if Olde would be as well. Likely hood was that not as many would be in the City and more split up groups would be in the woodland areas. However, no matter how much he wanted them to be the stupid mindless fools he said them to be, they were not. They were good liars and knew their way about the land. They would be on as high an alert as Bachelors had been. He doubted however that the religious ones had the urge to go off and kill Bachelors in small groups.

Leviticus listened to the other stallion speak Ryan? was it yes.. His tail flicked a bit. He couldn't agree more with Ryan."I agree with Ryan" he would speak about the quick and quiet he wasnt any of that. But he didn't say much as Apollo was making his decision. Levi's hooves would move about he was getting worked up over this and wanted to go. He hasn't hunted in a long time. He would shake his mane out feeling the tension in the air. The adrenaline about to come. He was fine not talking but the waiting was making him itch.
Moving forward a bit closer to Apollo a he spoke about not doing the shifting option and well he was pleased. He cant shift and didn't want to be out spilling Olde blood. He wanted even to pass Apollo to get going into the territory faster to get this objective underway. He was close to Apollo his head swayed side to side debating on if he could pass him. He though knew where he was placed. Apollo was lead here and he have to listen to him. He knew once they started they were going to be a hard group to stop. His head swung to hear Cethin speak and well he just wanted to move. His blue eyes stared at Apollo as if to know what the plan was but couldn't they decide as they moved. He snorted out a bit to get rid of some energy. (word count 250)

Ryan's ears swiveled towards Leviticus a he said "I agree with Ryan", his light green eyes looked over at the other draft stallion, a smirked pulled on his lips. 'Now here's a horse I can work with.' He thought. Before they set off Ryan twisted his head once towards the left, then the towards the right, cracking his neck every time. At the end he shook himself out, causing some of the ground to shake too. He then straightened up and took a whiff of the air, his smirk splitting into a mad grin. Lucky for the small band of bachelors they we're downwind. 'Perfect.' He thought as he waited for Apollo's next command.
As Apollo and the others began moved Ryan waited a second, he would take up the back end and mare sure no other horses would sneak up on the others. He pawed the ground as a 'Good bye sweet land.' and trotted off, his joints making a 'crick' sound with the first movements. He held his head high as he looked around. In no time they would be on Olde soil, attacking Olde member. The brute's trot turned into a canter as he got more excited, he could see the end of the land bridge now. The cold wind picked up, causing his mane to flap madly in the wind. He listened to Cethin, and mumbled aloud to himself "The city..? As much as I'd like to its not like were here to cause a war." His ears pricked towards their leader as he waited for the final decision. In his mind he cursed himself for a moment, 'this could all go much faster if I could shadow travel.' He mentally grumbled to himself.

He listened to their hooves prodding at the Olde grass, but the sounds of footsteps were no longer audible as they all began to blabber. His ears flickered in annoyance as they all seemed to speak at once; his eyes now half lidded.
"Sir, I doubt that any of us would so much as think to ruin such a carefully laid out mission."
Cethin’s reassurance of not wanting to ruin the mission lightened his mood, however only minimally. “It’s not you that I’m worried about.” Apollo tossed his head up as Leviticus attempted to pass him, a glare meeting the draft’s actions. Although his gaze seemed to travel over to Ryan, the large horses seemed to be impatient and Apollo was not going to be babysitting either of them. “This may be exciting for all of you,” He paused, his walk also coming to a stop. “Though, I will not be taking nonsense from any of you. We were put in a group to work together, if you can’t understand that. You’re better off dragging yourself back to the safety of the summer fields.”
Apollo emitted a rather loud sigh, attempting to answer all of their questions at once or as quickly as they are given. “As for your concerns about where we will be hunting, there is no other choice but to go through The Silver Woods first. From there, if we encounter anyone – we will put them down.” The palomino returned to a walk, his ears attentively perked up. “Now, I will not stop again as we are going deeper into the Olde territory. Do any of you have questions?” A stern tone began to replace his easygoing one, his temper beginning to flare. The two stallions were more childish than his own son, it seemed - Cethin on the other hand, seemed like a stallion he could work with.

Cethin was eager, yes, but he could bide his time and he knew respect. He could get out of line though. Such as fathering a filly he would never dream of bringing to the herd and having a brief... thing with Grange. He was no saint. His thoughts cleared completely when Apollo asked about questions. Cethin closed his mouth slowly. He did not want to be on the bad side of the stallion and already he knew all he needed to know about the mission.
His orange eyes flicked about the horses, Ryan looked unhappy as if he wished to do something else, or at least he was eager. Leviticus almost looked impassive. Cethin flattened his ears and stepped a bit away from the group, disengaging himself from any questions that they might expect from him, he had after all talked the most. He turned his head away, cold eyes taking in the world around him, but with one ear flicked back at the other stallions to pick up any bits of conversation and questions, should there be any. His eyes took in the landscape, it was much more... beautiful. He'd been here many a times. He had met Riviera right past here in the City. Then Araphine right here. Nearly in this exact spot.
"If you want to work out other strategies later on through the mission, I am happy to offer up my knowledge of the land layout and tactics." Apollo and the others probably had tactics covered, but Cethin poured his time into learning new ones whenever he could.

Leviticus would see the glare. He would set back continued walking at a good pace. His ears back as the glare happened and his neck raised. He would move along with his heavy hooves hitting the ground. Then there was his words. There was the apollo he knew that seemed stuck up and judged. He seems to get stuck with this stallion a lot and he didnt know why. Must be a punishment or something. All he wanted to do was the mission to hurt these horses something he is good at. Not that he wasnt going to work with them. He snorted. His eyes moved forward not looking at Apollo to prevent him from speaking out of turn to the lead stallion of the mission. He would look out at the horizon.
His ears turned to listen to the talk. He had no questions he knew what he needed to do. He just kept up with the group. Not straying from them. He would lift his nose in the air to smell any olde near by. Raising his lips a bit to catch any particules of scent. His hooves kept a good gait.

'I hope Apollo isn't always this stuck up.' The buckskin stallion inwardly groaned as he heard Apollo say “It’s not you that I’m worried about.” Ryan's eyes wandered over the Olde land. That is till he noticed Apollo was looking, no glaring, back at him. He met the Elite's look with a raised brow and a snort. Hearing Apollo talk about them as if there was a problem in the group he made a face, careful so Apollo or the others wouldn't notice. 'So far I see no problem' He thought. While Ryan didn't particularly enjoy being in Apollo's group so far he wouldn't dream of letting the mission fail, or of hurting another bachelor before the next fight.
He listened as Apollo talked again "Only one.. Sir," Ryan said testing out the word, but saying 'sir' to anyone that wasn't Cain seemed wrong to him "How long will we stay on the Olde's Island?" Ryan finished. He knew round two of this war was coming, and he knew Cain would most likely want them back in the army's ranks.. Plus he wanted to see someone before that happened. The stallion's attention snapped back to Cethin as he began speaking again, 'How many times has he been here?' Ryan wondered. he was beginning to like Cethin just a little more, the stallion seemed very curious and had many ideas.

“Only one.. Sir,how long will we stay on the Olde's Island?"
Apollo exhaled, taking a moment to think, Cain’s orders seemed to echo for a while before finally answering the buckskin draft. “Until the task is done,” His ears perked up at the rustling of bushes, relieved to see a mere rabbit passing by - the palomino trotted up to it and ripped the life from it’s fragile body with ease, only a squeak escaping the brown bundle of fur. “Bring nothing back alive.” He hissed quietly as he quoted Cain’s words, flattening his grey rimmed ears.
Adrenaline began to course through his veins, the idea of revenge seemed to be much more indirect than it was previously. The thought of avenging his herd was more important than restoring the honor to Cain’s name at this point - though both aspects were evenly distributed in the elite’s head. Apollo leaned inwardly, his massive head now closer to the ground, “Keep low and quiet, we’ll take shelter in the woods if we spot anything, anything, in the distance. It’s better to take precautions than to be taken abroad into their herd.” His husky voice was now in hushed whispers, aware and ready for anything that might be lurking ahead.
