The stag watched with cold eyes as Apollo took immediate control of the group. Whether the mare from the Olden Herd liked it or not, she was being overpowered by mere words. Cethin smiled as the petty little mare, with the gift of air manipulation it seemed, was captured by the crest by Apollo. Her blue eyes betrayed desperation and he watched as she fell limp long pale mane falling in front of her face. Whether it be she had fainted or not, he wouldn't be sure. Yet he decided on one theory,
A trick, but be it so, the stag could care less. He took a step forward, brandishing tall, slender, silver antlers and pushing outwards to the group's leader and the dark-coated stallion traveling along in time with Apollo's words. Dominance and power would show and would make all the difference. The stallion still maintained his stag-form, he could for a long while at least. He just hoped that the fight was quick so he would recover from shifting back faster. As the group looked now, they were formidable, just not quite ready for interaction with Rolic stallions, scavengers that trained for fighting. The stallion looked nervous and the mares were... well different. They showed power in the group, much unlike most of the broods in the Bachelor Herd.

Levi wanted to get this rolling talking was just not his thing and well they were here to dispatch these olde herd of their life. Why are they talking why can't they just hurt them like they came here. Well leaders tend to want to talk more then the so called grunts. Though this grunt was tired of words. He wanted action. His eye glared at the smaller male. He would chatter his teeth at the smaller stallion. Seeing the other girl flop like she was dead or something he snorted. If it took that to kill her well maybe he could make her bleed a bit more make it violent so the olde herd could see that something wild and crazy ate one of their horses.
He would scratch his hoof at the ground. He shook his mane out. Trying to hold back the energy he was having.. He looked at Apollo wanting the signal or something. If one of the olde lashed out he would in a split second. Patience wasnt his thing and Apollo was lucky he was keeping composure right this moment. It was hard for him to do so. His tail flicked in irritation and his nostrils flared.

Ryan looked at Apollo. A ghost of a smirk fell on his lips. He had heard Apollo bellow his name from rage, he knew he was rubbing the stallion the wrong way but he couldn't care less. His eyes darted from Apollo to the now flopped over mare that lay 'dead' still held above the ground. He moved his head one side to side, trying to tell Apollo the mare hadn't been finished. His green eyes then snapped to the buckskin mare as she spoke "Some of us might have begun to wonder if they should just pack up and leave to explore the isles of Chevalin". Even though Ryan came off as unintelligent and stupider than a boulder he was actually very intelligent. He could tell the mare was trying to call out to their 'softer' sides and try to convince them to stop this fighting. Maybe she was even trying to find a way to escape from them. But the band of Bachelors enjoyed this to much.
"May I?" He asked Apollo, he knew how much the Elite loved to give permission. A cold smirk sitting on his face as he grinded his teeth If Apollo could just give him a single yes, Ryan would make sure this ended in a blood bath, he looked over to Cethin and shot him a look meaning "This time I wouldn't stand in my way."

Dancer stopped next to Diony. "I don't think he's going to fall for her trick. The big one has figured it out," she whispered to Diony. She looked over to the spotted draft that was asking for permission to come after them. Let Angelia be okay. I doubt Alabaster would be happy to find her in the stat she's in. She sighed and looked to the other three around them. The stag, he must be a stallion with Divine Shapeshifting. That's just wonderful, a divine gift. She rolled her eyes a little and looked back to Apollo.
"Is there anyway that the three of us are getting out of here alive?" She asked. Her good eye looked over to Diony. please don't say anything too cocky now. She though as she looked to the palomino stallion with Angelia in his mouth. "Is there really a need to waste your energy on the three of us? After all, do we really look like we can fight?" This is a time where I really wish I didn't have all of my scars... Well, at least most of them blend in. She though, looking again to the three other stallions. It was hard to watch all of them with only one eye. I really wish I had both of my eyes right now as well... This was no time to be wishing for things that you couldn't get back. Dancer shook out her coat, her forelock barely moving. Please let us get out of this with our lives.

It took all of her might to not scream when the palomino threatened to snap her neck. She had no doubt that he could, and that's what scared her. Plus it seemed that no one was buying her dying act. Well duh, she wasn't that good of an actress. Only her little stupid Alabaster had fallen for it. How she would love to just be cuddled instead of hanging by her neck. Wouldn't that be nice...
She heard Dancer ask if there was anyway they were getting out here alive. That didn't seem very likely. You could always hold onto the hope.
Angelia wished she wasn't hanging by her neck. It hurt, especially when there's teeth digging into your flesh. Why couldn't she be a big draft, that could scare horses! Nope, she was born a skinny Arabian. Just dandy. Being an Arabian only helped when you were running, which she seemed to not be doing.
Ugh, she had to get out of here. What the hell could she do though?! She was hanging uselessly. Perhaps she could use her Air Manipulation? What good could that do... Guess she'd just have to lie her until she could think of something. This was going to be uncomfortable...

"I don't think he's going to fall for her trick. The big one has figured it out," Dancer whispered over his shoulder as his eyes scanned the opponents. He huffed out a quiet reply, "I wish that Angelia could use her gift to suck out the air in their lungs. . . Just so they would be stunned and us retreat to safety and get suitable aide. . . Death isn't the answer to war." "May I?" a dumber stallion asked with spite. Diony shot him a fierce glance before he remarked "No, you may not. Only those smart enough to not blindly follow orders are allowed to act." He battered," And you think fowl of us for believing in unicorns, but you can't even tell me why you are here other than a simple remarks of how your 'loyalty' guides you to follow your stone leader's orders. What is even the reason for our interaction? And certainly there is some sense in you for you have yet to attack, though you seem so eager to shed our blood." There was no doubt Diony was angry now. The shock of ambush had subsided and his bones were straight fire. These idiots would not pass them this night unless they stepped over his dead body.

The taste of the mare’s blood in his mouth became quite boring and bland after a while, the only reason he had her in his grasp was due to the pain and agony he was feeding off of her and her group. His ears perked at the sound of the leader’s words, the corners of his mouth churned upward into a smile as he attentively listened. Apollo re-adjusted his grip on the mare, clenching his jaw as he gathered a spurt of energy - throwing her to the nearest tree or so he aimed, although he didn’t look at her as she presumably laid sprawled across the grass.
"Is there anyway that the three of us are getting out of here alive? Is there really a need to waste your energy on the three of us? After all, do we really look like we can fight?"
Apollo felt blood trickle along his jaw and down his neck, a disturbing sight no doubt about it. “Possibly. That’s up to you.” The stallion snaked, answering her next question rather darkly. “But that’s what makes it entertaining! Isn’t it boys.” A short-lived chuckle escaped his throat with a heave, although his attention gravitated to a small stallion and Ryan. He watched their little escapade, amusing the large draft slightly - shaking his head at Ryan in dissent. The baboon had dared to defy his orders and still had the courage to ask for permission?! “I didn’t hear you asking for my permission when you galloped out here! Now did I?!” A low growl mustered at the back of his throat, until he finally barked out aggressively. It took every bone in the elite’s body not to go over and strike Ryan, that defiant mule. Oh, but he was not going to hear the end of it when they were done here - that was for certain. Apollo collected himself once more, sighing in anger, looking at each of the Olde herders , besides the one he had somewhat mangled, in the eye; though the leader’s forelock suspiciously covered half of her face. He knit his brows together in curiosity, a glint of glee in his eyes, Casper does that with her face.. And she doesn’t have an eye.. Oh the possibilities! Thoughts bubbled slowly, they could ambush her on that side - even if she wasn’t blind, that mane of hers would be a burden. The palomino adjusted himself, ready to lunge at whoever dared; hopefully someone would be bold enough to go check on that mare of theirs.

Cethin pushed towards the stallion with his silver prongs of death, his orange eyes staring right at the stallion, a look of utter determination to silence the horse. Ryan's voice reached the stallion's ears and he shifted his gaze to the draft to see a cold one staring back at him. Cethin bared his teeth and flattened his ears. Then there was a thud as the mare was tossed carelessly to the ground by Apollo. Her mane fell to the grass and Cethin smiled, pearl white teeth contrasting his dark fur.
He took another step forward and hopefully both Dancer and the stallion would back away, showing a opportune for the rest of Cethin's group to catch them off guard, while they still focused on the stag advancing towards them slowly. Cethin knew his strategies, he could play his cards right. Now all that had to happen was for the word to be given and for the Olde horses to fall into his trap. He flicked his gaze to Apollo, readiness evident. Fuzzy tipped ears were swiveling this way and that picking up every breath, every sound. Each sigh from every horse. The tension ripped at his bones, just waiting, just waiting to be released in a flurry of tactical motion.

Levi was expecting some one to do something and well especially Apollo. He spoke before of just running in quick and killing and moving on. QUICK ... He would though hear that it isnt quick this is dragging out to be a talk fest.Maybe he meant talk quickly to there death. Like words killing them or something. This isn't what he wanted. He saw Apollo send the girl to the tree but he was about to move but he figured Cethin in his much faster stag form would get her with out a problem. He wanted blood sweat and body's. Body's falling clashing and screaming at him or even himself damn he just wanted action. His head twitched to the side as he was trying to swat ideas of just throwing himself at one of the olde. He probably just crush them from his big weight. His head jerked to Apollo. His head flattened and he snorted. "Apollo!" he spoke rather loud like come on man... He was grown even more impatient. His foot hit the ground clacking against a stone scrapping it up. He would look to the olde. Snort rather harshly. He shook his mane out again. He was very antsy at the second. holding energy that needed to be released wasn't working. But he obeyed he was dependable he did not attack yet.

Ryan watched as Apollo tossed the mare then looked to the grullo olde stallion once he stared talking. “Can you shut up?” He asked, annoyed and bored with the band of Olde, especially when the he-she started talking about orders and blah blah blah. The draft mix looked at Apollo hearing him say “I didn’t hear you asking for my permission when you galloped out here! Now did I?!” Ryan rolled his eyes and looked at Levi with a ‘kill me’ expression on his face, he didn’t care if Apollo saw or not. "Did you want me to stay still, they had already seen us. We had to go up and stop them in their tracks." He snapped at Apollo, the elite was insufferable. Ryan didn't think anything he had done was as terrible as Apollo was making it seem. “I’m gonna do this one thing. Sorry.” He apologized in advance and struck out at the olde stallion, raking his sharp hoof down the horse’s side, causing blood to well up. His nose twitched once the smell hit him. It took tons of will power to not attack the stallion any further. “Didn’t you want this done ‘quickly and quietly?” Ryan grumbled more to himself than to Apollo.

Dancer glared at Cethin as he tried to push them back. She could see he was trying to get them of balance. She snorted when she heard Angelia's body hit the ground. Please be okay, Ange. We ask need to make it back to the herd alive. She thought, glancing over at the champagne mares body.
She turned her blue eye to the death as he tried to push them back with his silver prongs. She shook her head and reared up as Ryan went after Diony. They simply had to get away from these four. There was no winning in a fight against them. At least, not if they played cleanly. A dirty fight was probably the only way out, but, they only knew how to play dirty. Damnit all! We need to get out of here, and we need to do it now.
"Diony, are you okay?" She asked, only after she noticed the blood dripping from the wound. This shaping up to really bad for us. She thought. She smiled grimly as she thought about ways to get out. She snorted and reared up, aiming to strike at the stag's head.
"Out of my way!" She snorted as shook out her mane. It was nice to be tall, and it was the best for rearing.

Angelia felt the draft's jaw clench. This wasn't going to be good. Suddenly she was thrown like a rag doll, her stomach almost hitting the tree. Pain seared up her side. A small whimper escaped her mouth. There went her cover. Ugh, she hurt. Why couldn't she just be cuddled... She was a lover not a fighter. Her body was was soft and delicate, mean't to be loved, not bruised. From what Angeila could see from the corner of her eyes, the spotty went after Diony. Blood welled from his side. Now you know how I feel. Except you know, here I am, against a tree. Wow, even in great pain, she still had a smart mouth. Which wasn't even like her. She was usually happy, cheerful, not against a tree. Dancer suddenly went after the stag. That seemed like a bad idea. His antlers were sharp, capable of doing some damage. She wanted to get up, at least try to be a little threatening. Prove herself. Yet, here she was on the ground. Nothing very scary about that. Her mane was all in her face, and she was having trouble breathing. Yes, she was the scariest little horsie in all of Chevalin. A short, skinny, Arabian mare.

Diony snorted as Angelia hit the ground. He wanted so badly to go to her side and help her, but this dumb stallion was staring too intently. Then the spotted asshole that he was struck Diony fiercely. The stallion screamed through clenched teeth, and swung around. Surly a broken something or another, it was getting hard to breathe, but if he showed that, then he'd be a goner. Any chance of fleeing quickly flew into the sea with his new to be scar.
It was Dancer who stuck next, and he used her distraction to lash out on his attacker, ignoring all the pain in his body-which had left his crippled legs, and he could deal with soreness later. The smaller stallion took the buckskin's forelock in his mouth and brought up a hoof to strike an eye. Diony came down and held the stallions fringe as he pushed behind him, spinning him around before he could react to dancer. I pulled that out of my ass. . The stallion commented as he put space between him and the mass so he could attack from behind. Adrenalin was running freshly and you could see it in the pools of blood from Diony's side that he was ready to fight now. After all, he didn't strike first.

Apollo watched with heavy lidded eyes as the Olde members finally attacked, his ears laid back casually; observing both their tactics and his group’s tactics. He sighed, his sides noticeably heaved, as he waited for something.. anything to happen. The smaller stallion raged out on Ryan and he internally cheered him on, not daring to intervene. Although as the buckskin mare reared up he held back a fit of laughter, rookie mistake. She was exposing her underbelly, and a stab by those silver antlers would cause both external and internal bleeding. Certain death. He shrugged it off allowing everyone to do their part, seeing such a small stallion tug on Ryan’s forelock was amusing however not enough to keep the mammoth entertained for the remainder of this little war.
And so, Apollo walked over to the little mare whose limbs awkwardly sprawled along the grass. He just stood by her, not interested in cutting her off just yet - he’ll wait until everyone else finishes their opponent, yes he’ll wait. Apollo looked at the mare, she had a slightly large belly for such a small frame. He tilted his massive head, “Mmm…” He mumbled in suspicion, what a group of misfits. The large stallion shook out his coat, a few drops of crimson splattering across his chest. This was turning out to be boring, he had overrated this whole fight by a long shot.

Cethin immediately jerked his head forward and up in a deadly arc and felt it connect with a gasp. The stag stabbed further and then drew out. Blood slid down his antlers and dripped onto his head, warm and delicate almost. The stag bared his teeth and stepped away from the mare and motioned Apollo over, if the mare was injured it could be a possibility to bring her back to the herd with little problem. If he thought she were still strong then Cethin would gladly play with her until she tired too much. The wound didn't look death-dealing, but oh if she bled out Cethin would watch her die.
If she wished to retreat. That was Apollo's decision. To spare them to tell the rest of the herd and spread fear like a wild fire. Or they would have to escape, which would almost be impossible. The stallion's orange eyes glinted and he backed away from the mare. If she wished to attack him... he might respect her spirit, but would call out her stupidity. Why fight when you have no more fight to win. The stag turned his head, not looking at the mare. He knew what love was like, she may have had someone at home, but now he cared less for the so called love this world has. His eyes took in Angelia now and he began to stand near her, keeping sentry for Apollo while he... eh, judged the lead mare of the Olde group.
