Takes place in: - Meadow in the summer fields, ringed with tall grasses, well sheltered. -Current time
The stallion couldn't be any less happy. He shifted smoothly from his elk form, the form he'd been using since a little... erm mission around the borders. The stallion's piercing orange eyes followed the mares of the herd, grouped together in the meadows of the summer fields. He snorted, stupid inferior things, that was what they were. Meant to be heartbreakers, meant to rope stallions in and then spread lies and rumors.
Cethin's black mane bounced against his neck. Only a few mares could stand out in the herd. The prostitute-like acting mares and the super tall or super short mares that were an oddity. Cethin noted without interest. He wanted almost nothing to do with the mares. Though he didn't mind showing them their places and for the procreation of the herd. He smiled wickedly and thought back to Grange and Greer. Grange and he had seemed promising but Cethin's rather active lifestyle led to their eventual parting. It hadn't been a pleasant experience, Cethin though with a huff, but it would eventually have to happen. Greer on the other hand was someone he truly loved, despite their differences and their mistakes, he loved her and his daughter.
None of that mattered now, he thought as the memories shattered. He dropped his head down to graze quietly, hopefully clearing his mind of all thoughts of... them.

Lilac tossed her head back to move her mane out of her eyes and look around at all the other mares around her, then off in the distance at the stallions that were on guard duty. No one seemed to be too tense around her, so she began to walk out of the denser herd of grazing mares and more out into the open, looking around before she suddenly reared up and pounded her front hooves against the ground in a joyous manner, leaping and bucking about before she calmed down slightly.
The herd was always rather stuck up, and even though Lilac could be the same way, sometimes energy would just get trapped and she needed some sort of way to release this energy.
