This is a Private Roleplay Between
Elesette's-Vasska
and
Alure's-Arachne
The Silver Wood was quiet. It was peaceful, and calming on the soul. Arachne liked that. However, she felt un-ease if she lingered to closely to the warm waters, or in areas where the sun filtered down too purely. She had found an area, a little deeper into the woods where the trees grew a little thicker, and the air felt a little less holy. It was here that the grey mare spent most of her time, and although it was a bit of a walk, paths had been made for easy access. Those who did not come in open search for the healers aid, often found themselves stumbling upon her when their noses detected scents of aromatic smoke wafting through the tree tops. If one were to follow their nose, they could track Arachne's little abode down fairly easily. The healer mage always seemed to be burning something (usually lavender) on warm coals to make the air smell sweet, and to bring peace over the senses of her guests.
Today started out like any other day. Arachne was harvesting some seeds and planting them around her little area, making sure she chose spots that had a decent amount of light during the day. When she had finished, she slid back into her darker area of the wood and stared quietly down at the little rock mound she had made to contain her incense burning.
"Hmm..." picking up a few lavender stalks with her lips, she placed them on the still warm coals from the night, and began to breath softly until the plants ignited, and the smoke began to rise. With half lidded eyes she breathed in the aroma and lifted her head, watching the tiny flames flicker. It was important to not leave the plants at this stage, for sparks and such could cause fires if they burned to high. And so, the lady Arachne waited patiently in the warm air of the afternoon, contemplating her next plan of attack.
