Role Play between: 1. Tierra - FreedomOnCanvas 2. Ananke - Harpys-Quill
Tierra Tierra felt the adrenaline rush through her veins as she raced through the fields. It was a warm and dry day and the grass had turned golden. The perfect camouflage colour for the little palomino mare. Though right now, she wasn't exactly hiding. She shot a glance over her shoulder to see how far the pack of wolves was behind her. She could hear their angry growls and laughed. They would never be fast enough to catch up with her.
Tierra loved to run, she loved the feeling of the wind going through her mane and the hammering sound of her hooves on the ground. Above all she loved the feeling of invincibility she felt as the pack of angry wolves bit the dust behind her.
The mare directed her attention on the scenery in front of her again as she stepped up her speed a little more. She could see hills and mountains in the distance. Suddenly she noticed a big rock on her path. Tierra frowned a little, had that been there before? Well not that it mattered she could jump it or...what was that? She focused her eyes as she saw something move by the rock. It was a tail... and the rock wasn't a rock but a horse. Oh no.. the mare grunted. The horse had yet to notice her and she was running straight at her... with a pack of wolves after her...
"Hey! Hey you! RUN!!!" Tierra yelled at the top of her lungs. "FAST!!"

It was a pure serendipity that caused Ananke to to happen across the small intersection between forest's paths: a grassy area, dry, soft and with ample shade from the ash tree above, it's branches stretched high and wide as the leaves blocked most of the scorching sun rays. It was a lovely area to take a break in, and the Defender folded her legs beneath her gracefully as she rested down, dried, golden leaves crackling beneath her weight as the mare relaxed. Such tranquility, while not exactly rare, was always treasured, at least in her eyes. There was naught a sound but the rustling breeze around her, and it was quiet to the point that Ananke didn't dare make a sound, lest it got swallowed up the the quietude of the woods.
All it took, however, was the crashing of leaves and cacophony of howls and laughter to shatter the poignant silence that had settled around the place. Instantly alert, she glanced straight up, only to be greeting with the bewildering sight of a mare, laughing breathlessly as she was chased by a pack of ravenous wolves. Well, damn, she thought, scrambling to her hooves at the mare's urgent, and slightly desperate, insistence to run. She, for one, wasn't going to be the idiot that stood there and waited to get eaten, especially when specifically told to escape.
She took off at a gallop just as the other caught up with her, and they ran neck to neck as Ananke fled in a panic. Though her mind was in slight hysteria, the defender noticed the peculiar behavior of the female alongside her. Whoever sane runs from a pack of lupus laughing. It certainly wasn't wise to taunt the creatures that could potentially kill you like that. "Could you save your breath? We're trying to save our skins, aren't we?"
OOC: I'll probably update this with a template when I can actually get off my ass and start drawing. =D

With a slightly surprised look in her eyes Tierra looked at the mare running beside her. save my breath? for what? The little mare thought amused, so she gave her unexpected companion a warm smile and speeded up some more. The mountains were getting closer and Tierra knew that was were she would be able to lose the wolves. She started to alter her path a little as more and more trees covered the land. She gave a little look over her shoulder to see how close the wolves were. From the hanging tongues and lake of growling she could tell that the pack started to become tired. The palomino whined loudly and flicked her tail provocative at the wolves, which was answered by angered growling much to the mares pleasure. She took a sharp turn towards the small ravine, calling out to the mare besides her. "This way! Just follow me!" She smiled out of breath and kept running as the stone walls of the ravine started to surround them. Just a little further there would be a small path going up those walls. The was made op flat rocks, dried mud, lose stones and holes. If they did it right the wolves wouldn't be able to follow.
