Body Talk A Private Roleplay Featuring themoonphase's Salvatore and Jeangal247's Esterellita. Timeline: Present Day
SUMMARY
Most mares know of Savatore's charm and that he has his certain "way" with the ladies. Esterellita knows this just as well - or so she has heard - and her charisma and beauty do not fail to captivate the young stallion as she sparks conversation after spotting him on guard duty one evening.
There was an eerie silence that took over the island preceding the last battle, and it was not one that Salvatore enjoyed. It made his job rather monotonous, given the fact that Vasska had cut off entry to his Island, now the most action the dunalino had gotten was the sight of a couple of rodents scrapping over a mate. He didn't appreciate it much because the lack of activity allowed his thoughtful mind to wander, and to his delight, the events of the past that took his homeland seemed to enjoy taking over.
From the hill of the great pine, Salvatore could smell another storm making its way toward his herd who he supervised, grazing in the distance. Just beyond them, the black cloudage that threatened to rain lingered, making its presence known through the occasional flash of lightning. With of a roll of blue eyes, Salvatore looked up to his own grazing companion, the Great Pine, and a grumble discharged from deep within his throat. Another downpour was the last thing that he wanted right now - a few days of sunshine would be nice. Just a few. And the lack of it made him miserable, which was hard for him to not outwardly express. The rain claimed the happiness of most horses, anyway.
There was a sort of magnificence in the way the black sky cut off the neighbouring blue, and how the clarity naturally welcomed the darkness to take over with open arms. But perhaps taking shelter underneath a tree so massive was not the brightest of ideas, and Salvatore contemplated trudging out into the sinister rainfall to keep the company of his herd. Thunder exploded in the distance, and as if on cue, the heads of the Exiles all perked up and looked toward the blackness that was the source of the threat. With a snort and a flick of his blonde tail, Salvatore began his trek.

Esterellita had been trying to outrun the storm and find some shelter, though it now appeared that she was running out of options and may have to ride it out in the open. A boom of thunder caused her to look up at the grey turning sky. Her blue-grey eyes caught site of something. The top of The Great Pine, looming over a the few hills that had covered it from her eyes before. She smiled thankfully, and began trotting up the hills in order to go under the pine. She stopped short once she made it over one hill though, a herd of horses were off in the distance. Her blood ran cold with fear. Was it the bachelors? The war between the two herds was no good, she knew that much, and she knew how those brutes treated mares. Not wanting to be seen, she trotted cautiously toward the body of water that separated that part of the island from the land-bridge. She very much doubted she could swim across safely, but she'd gladly take that risk than be with a herd. Especially that herd.
She could fully see The Great Pine now, along with the horse that stood on a hill, watching the storm. She could tell that the horse was a stallion, she could see his markings and looks even from the distance. Which wasn't that far, not even a mile away from each other. Her eyes narrowed as she studied the stallion, she made her stance tall and alert. She was ready to flee if she needed to, or fight the stallion. He doesn't seem that strong, she thought, I could take him. Her bravery getting the best of her. That was when she noticed that he didn't have an X scarred on his face. She sighed in relief again. Good, this must be the Exile herd. At least I don't have to worry about being captured, she thought happily with a flick of her head a smile. With a flick of her tail she trotted onward toward The Great Pine, this was one of the few moments when her clumsiness seemed to control itself.
Her trot was smooth with long even strides, her head curled gracefully toward her chest, though her head didn't tough it. Her nose was low to the ground and tall blades of grass would tickle her nose. Another rumble of thunder caused her to slow down and look up at the sky. Lightning flashed up in the clouds and another boom of thunder shortly followed after the lightning. Esterellita's hoof suddenly caught on a rock that had hidden itself in the grass, "AH!" She fell and her front hooves slid underneath her as she landed on her chest and the bottom part of her face slammed against the ground. "By the unicorns, curse this clumsiness." She grumbled as she struggled to get up, her body still jarred from the fall. Once she gained her feet, she shook herself and tried to fix her mane a bit more as it had gotten messed up from the fall.

Salvatore | Exile | Guard
Freezing in his path at the pitter-patter of hooves behind him, Salvatore shot a quick glance around the tree, hoping that whoever it was wouldn't see him behind the massive trunk. Wait a second... what was that? His gaze threw itself back around the tree at what he saw. A mare? How delightful. Smiling to himself, he watched her move closer and closer to him, totally unaware of his presence. Intently he watched as she gazed at the clouds, flashes of lightning illuminating her golden coat and the rumble of thunder vibrating the ground she moved gracefully on. Gracefully, yes, until she tripped over what looked like nothing but herself. Salvatore couldn't help but wince as he saw her crash on the moistened grass; hopefully the rain made the grass at least somewhat softer so her fall wouldn't be as harsh. As he watched her from afar, a quiet chuckle slowly erupted from his throat that quickly turned into booming hysterics that he couldn't control. "This is going to be good," he thought out loud as she recovered to her feet.
"A little wobbly on our filly legs, are we?" He called out, just loud enough for her to hear. It probably sounded rude to her at first, but he meant it in a playful manner he hoped she would understand. He gave her a crooked smile that she probably couldn't see and nodded at her in approval as she regained her balance. "Don't worry, darling, you look charming," he reassured her respectfully as she fixed her mane, and he lowered his head back down to graze, not thinking much of the situation.

She looked over at the stallion who had called out to her. It was the same stallion that she had seen up on the hill, who now seemed to graze peacefully as if there was not a storm approaching at all. She gave a sly smirk and cocked an eyebrow, "Ah, a charming stallion I see." She commented to him loud enough so he could hear. Another flash of lightning illuminated up in the clouds as she coolly walked over to the stallion. He was handsome, and looked about her age she guessed but perhaps a little older. He's tan coat dark under the shade of the tree and even at this distance she could see that he was rather tall. Esterellita stopped when she was about ten feet away from him. "Is that your herd up that hill, señor?" She asked curiosity and motioned with her head toward the hill where the herd of horses were grazing.
Her blue-grey eyes glanced over at the stallion again as she did a sweep over. She saw that his chest was broad, his hindquarters were the only thing she would consider muscular, and he was diffidently a Marwari with the way his ears curled toward each other. Nice eyes, handsome, she thought when she saw them and gave him a kind smile.

Salvatore | Exile | Guard
Salvatore's new acquaintance was rather unique in appearance. She had markings he had never seen before, and to him it was rather captivating. Her first impression was a rather amusing one to him and he grinned foolishly as he thought about it. Tilting his head as she approached, he watched her carefully as she scanned him up and down as if he were an alien. "If only you knew the half of it," he replied cooly; he was so much more than just charming. A curly pair of ears flattened against his skull as Salvatore watched this mare continue to check him out. She paid an extra long while looking at his rump, where his hip bones tended to protrude no matter how much he tried to bulk them up. Stepping sideways slightly, Salvatore looked at her straight on so she could only look at his face. He raised his head and tilted his head slightly more, blinking at her as she spoke, and glancing off into the distance upon her mentioning his herd. "Yes, that would be them." Hopefully that reassured her slightly. "And your herd would be... where?" Backtracking, he thought about the mare's unique accent. She was rather full of surprises; a beautiful coat and an accent he had never heard before. He almost didn't even hear the words she spoke as he gazed upon her sunset coloured hide.

She gave him one of her dazzling flirtatious smiles, "You're looking at it. Herd Esterellita," her Spanish accent easily rolling off her name at the double l's. "Population, one." She noticed that he kept studding her coat and she lifted an eyebrow. What's he staring at? Is there something on my coat? she thought a bit self consciously, as she turned her head a bit to look at her own coat. She didn't see anything unusually about her coat, but she knew that most were in awe at her strange markings. She looked back at the stallion in front of her, "Honestly I don't know why you keep staring at me. Don't they have señoritas in your herd?" She asked him while playfully teasing him a bit. This was also a smart way to figure out which herd he was really in. She doubted he was in the Bachelor herd, but she wanted to be sure so she knew if she needed to be on guard about him or not. Besides, she knew how some horses could be offended if you guessed the wrong herd.Though she was still confused about why he seemed so interested in her. She found him a handsome stallion who had diffidently caught her attention, and if anything she should be the one staring at him.
She noticed that his white markings reminded her of water rushing down from his back to his hind legs. She noticed the stripes on his legs too and that he too had two striped hooves. She couldn't help but be slightly amused by the two similarities of their markings. Though that was about the only thing similar.

Salvatore | Exile | Guard
No matter how hard he tried, Salvatore couldn't help but laugh at the mare's first remark. Eyes lighting up with excitement, he learned he had come across his very first loner. "Well ma'am, you seem to hold your herd up rather well," he snickered at her. Charming? It was about time someone noticed. Lifting his head with a proud grin, he was impressed at the fact that she so easily fed his ego. "Why, charming is my middle name." With a wink, his mood abruptly changed from cool to slight panic as she began moving toward him. Mares this confident were often full of surprises, so he braced himself and took a step back, unaware of what she could do. This mare was utterly exotic, and he had never seen anything like her in his life. He perked up when he heard her speak up again, and with a rather uneasy tone he gave her a reply. "Um... yes... there are plenty of, uh... seeñorita Exiles, but, uh, none that look quite like you. My apologies for staring, I am rather intrigued." His Spanish accent was awful, but he did his best in copying her.
Tilting his head, he relaxed a little, realizing that she was staring just as intently. "Pardon me Esterellita, is there something on my coat?" With a sly smirk, he glanced toward his read, playing with his own remark. Mares could be silly that way sometimes, acting innocent yet they seeming to be totally oblivious to their own actions. He raised an eyebrow at her and puffed out his chest while maintaining his grin, hoping he caught her off guard.

The young mare laughed at his horrible Spanish accent, "Leave the accent to the experts." She joked, "Señorita means girl by the way, in case you didn't know." Esterellita smirked at the stallion as he puffed out his chest. "Nothing is wrong with your coat, other than that its handsome." She added with a wink then laughed. "Don't be getting such a big head yet, señor. I am just amused at the similarities we have with our coats. You have stripes on your legs and two stripped hooves like me." She shrugged slightly, "It amuses me." She wasn't at all shocked by his stance, in fact she rather hoped herself that she surprised him with her flirty ways. Though she knew to be careful too, since some stallions saw this as a sign that this could lead to more things. Even though she was never serious with her flirting, but if this stallion did prone to be like the rest, then she knew how to fight him off and tell him no. She may be a flirt but she certainly wasn't a slut.
