Sulkily moved the big chestnut stallion on the bumpy pavers of the old town that was abandoned by the humans centuries ago. Every now and then, one of his hooves got stuck behind the irregular pavement. The stallion quickened his pace from a sluggish, bored trot to a more elegant, faster gait in which the muscles rolled under his thin, shiny coat. A wave of boredom went like an approaching storm cloud over his handsome face. His intense blue eyes dimmed their lights, making it look like life had disappeared. Like frost under the morning sun. Viserys was a master in being emotionless, though his mind was often a huge, swirling mass. His thoughts flew from pillar to post, and that while he usually appeared as a calm soul.
A sigh worked his way up via his trachea, after which it slipped through his lips. He narrowed his eyes in order to protect them against the bright sunlight. The summer heat hung like a blanket over his slightly sweaty back. At times he was really grateful that his coat had a fairly light color, thus he suffered less from the burning heat than horses with a darker coat color. Viserys made his way through a network of narrow, deserted alleys until he had arrived at his home, an old, white detached building. His ears pointed upward when a sound broke free from the silence. Someone had invaded his home. Anger welled up in his heart, no one touched unasked his property. The stallion walked, even though he was pissed, as calm as possible inside. It took a few seconds before his eyes were used to the dim room. His eyes noticed a young mare, something he hadn’t expected. ‘Who are you and what are you doing in my house?’
