No Place to be a Child
CrystalUniicorn | Elowen
Everlastingstables | Felicity
Just when the young slave didn't think things could get more chaotic, they did. She hated the tension that floated about the air, and the dire situation that was before everyone. Young, old, weak or strong, every member of the Bachelor herd had their reservations about this war. Elowen didn't agree with it, yet she couldn't disagree either. She wasn't sure of Cains motives and it was really none of her business, but it was hard not to wonder what his strategy could be. She had hoped for every ones sake that he would make the right choices to protect these lands.
To her right were sparing stallions, spread across acres of Bachelor land. As must as she had a distaste for them, the absolute power of their bodies was magnificent. It was quite sad that, for most, their intellect couldn't quite match to their muscles. To her left was the bustling of mares and foals alike, and where she felt she would fit in much better. Not that she had much of a choice, either way she was happy she wasn't going to see the bloodstained front of war.
She focused on them, her ability aiding her. She needed to find something productive, something worth her while.
Ah! The young Felicity stood between a group of competing mares, her mothers time being stolen from the mare Casper. That was no good, and from where she was standing she could get hurt. Without a second thought, Elowen swooped in and shielded the filly from whatever was going on around her. " Felicity." The mare cooed, loud enough for her to hear over the constant bustle. " Your mum is a little preoccupied right now, why don't you come along with me and we can help in our own way?" She kindly asked, trying not to make the filly nervous. It was almost an unwritten code to take care of any stray colts or fillys as a brood, and Elowen certainly didn't mind.
Perhaps they would be able to do something, but Elowen wasn't too sure if the young Felicity would be up to a challenge.
