Gaius | The Exiles | Guard
The swirling, afternoon sun beats down heatedly at the frail lands of the Last Green Land in the Southern Isle. The discolored grass brittle and tattered above dead soil, not much plantation flourish in the area but manage to survive in the harsh terrain.
The northern wind blows in, passing through the thin trees which results in soft sways of branches as the waters crash against the Land bridge; creating beautiful music of nature.
It was peaceful here.
However,
there were soft crunches under large hooves, coming closer to the extension between the Exiles and Bachelor Herd's territory.
A lean figure moved leisurely along the shoreline, moving with lazy strides. It's dark coat attracting the merciless sun as it becomes unbearably hot- an uncomfortable feeling for the approaching stallion.
The male than sighs as he stops at the bridge, looking out into the water with eyes of wonder and curiosity. How he wishes to explore the land unknown to him- what it's like to go beyond the Southern Isle, to experience something different than what's in the Exile herd. But he feels foolish for these thoughts- It won't come true. The hilarity of adventure for Gaius was meaningless so he wouldn't dare try- he wouldn't try to think of trying...

Today was going to be such a terrific day as the mare was finally able to sneak off once again away from the guards her and the rest of the broodmares. She hasn't mind that was much more arid and humid as she got closer to the sandy beach of the bachelors border and Exiles.
She was finally on her own without any stallion that would watch her every move. It would have seen she was in luck more then ever with the land bridge just in view, oh what wonder would the mare be able to see today. The seagulls were playfully gliding over her head as they call out to one another in a joyous manner as the ocean breeze carry her fetlocks from left to right., sand treading behind her.
For what seems like hours she finally was towards the middle of the land bridge where a small mass of sand build up was like a semi small island. The mare jumped up and down as she found it refreshing to stop her legs a bit for rest due to the sand were very hot to touch as if they were on fire from the sun beating down on them. As the mare soaked her hooves into the cool ocean water her head scan the Southern Isle. To the young mare it was a whole new different experience she had never been this far out and off of Bachelor territory. The grullo mare's lime green eyes catch something off in the distance, it was a mere speck though as she pondered and stared at it intently their seem to be slight movements. Well this made her more curious and thus her small little break was over, what does she have to lose now any how she lived with Bachelor they were consider as brutes so whats more scarier then them? If anyone knew she would be in so much trouble even Lilith couldn't even help her out, but she still proceeded anyway towards that speck of movements.

Gaius | The Exiles | Guard
The day went on far too long for the stallions comfort and soon became bored of standing around the water's edge and just- sight see.. He simply wanted to relax but then again- This isn't actually watching- He squints at the Bachelor's territory; more towards the land-bridge itself. He sees a dark speck not far off.. it seemed to be moving, getting closer to the Southern Isle. By a far it can be determined that it was defiantly some sort of animal- perhaps a horse? A member of the Bachelors? A.. Loner? The male grunts angry at the thought; last thing he needs is to encounter a disgrace of a horse. To meet pathetic trash.
He then proceeded to round over the bridge, sheltering himself under the few bits of underbrush that grew near the passage way. He wanted to find out who this is and what their doing here.
And to him- the best way is to hide and watch carefully.

The Oceans waves splash every now and then as the mare threaded towards the southern isle, but to her disappointment the speck of movement was no where to be seen anymore while she wasn't looking due to her preoccupied at string at all the seagulls and swirling waves. The mare pouted as she made a full stop, now fully on the southern's isle beachfront, the land was very dried and only certain parts had vegetation but even they were not as green as it was back at home.
She look from side to side for the speck she saw before but it had either seem that who ever it was had left. She pawed at the ground in frustration. "Oh man where did they go?! I was hoping to meet someone other then my own herd." She whined.

Gaius | The Exiles | Guard
The Exile stuck his head out upon hearing hoof-steps getting uncomfortably closer and a distressed whine. The hilarity. Clearly this horse isn't satisfied with the results of crossing and was expecting something much more grand.
'That's what you get. welcome to the southern isle- land of disappointments' Gaius thought bitterly to himself as he slowly stepped out of hiding, turning to face the presumably offended traveler.
He scanned it over, coming to conclusion that it was female- and she seemed to have made a long distanced trip.
The male coughed slightly to draw the mare's attention before asking the most common question,
"Who are are?"

Upon begin distracted by her own little world she hasn't noticed a another horse had stepped out of hiding near the bushes. Her eyes were begin overwhelmed by the new sights and smell that differ so much from her herd. It might by a bit more bare and sad looking but these things were new to her and she found it exciting personally. She has always had to much curiosity for her own good, and that probably why she gets into so much trouble.
It wasn't until she heard a slight coughing noise did her ears perk towards the strangers way, her lime green eyes soon followed as she started at the new profound equine. It was a stallion and he had almost like a bald face like hers, but with more ridged shapes here and there and lime green eyes starting back at her own.
"Hi, there I' m Tamera! you can call me Tam for short if you like." She answered cheerfully with her head cocked to the side at the stallion whom was now standing a few feet not far from her.

Gaius | The Exiles | Guard
He rouse an eyebrow at the new-comer's odd behavior, He wasn't expecting this sort of thing at all- like more hostile or timid nature- not this. Her coat colour was a shade off of his own, taking in a more dull-brownish hue; Grullo a like himself with the same colour of eyes. Oh, the irony.
She seemed to also be a few inches taller than him- something that made him grumble in annoyance- he's short to another mare.. Great..
While taking in the questionable mare's appearance, Gaius sighed, rearing his head back; looking off to the side as he ignored her enthusiastic introduction, clearly not at all interested in formalities. He didn't waste time: asking boredly, voice in the ever infamous monotone. "...What are you doing here exactly?"

From a closer inspection she was taller then the knew stallion, well it wasn't news to Tamera since she out grown some of the males in the herd except for those whom where were going to be 18hh later on. She seemed to noticed his irritated by the fact that she was a few inches taller them him. Now she seem to found something amusing to do with this new stranger, perhaps even test him a bit and see how he fair.
Not caring for the male's annoyance as he sighed to her cheerful attitude she continued on what she was doing before with a slight devious smile that only lasted for a second before it was back to having a happy go lucky smile.
"No reason really beside wanting to know whats it like over here, I just wanted to get away from the guards and spend some time for myself without them looking over my shoulder nearly every hour of the day." she replied to him tiling her head in a playful manner.
"So...aren't you going to introduce yourself mister? also are you an Exile?" She asked trotting around the male examining him from top to bottom. He looks very similar to her at least coat and iris is, she bet if someone saw them now she would pass as his sister for a lie.

Gaius | The Exiles | Guard
The Guard watched her babble on and on about her business before asking him in return, all the while trotting around him- circling him. He didn't like this situation at all. Her suspiciously easy-going attitude left him on edge. Besides her name he didn't know who she was status wise and where she came from; Tamera was still a stranger to him- a stranger that's unbearable too close for comfort in his opinion.
"Slow down there, Twinkles" He exclaims awkwardly, trying to move away, "The name's Gaius and yes, I'm-" cutting off his own sentence, he maneuvers his body around and skids to right, stopping the mare from furthering her pursuit around him. Making direct eye contact with Tamera, He says in a slight annoyed tone,"Will you stop that?"

"hmm, whats there to slow down and stop? its not like I'm doing anything right?" eyeing the stallion as he tries to move away from the awkward proximity to which she created invading his personal space every few second she could get. "Besides,you think we are close enough to even use a nickname now, how goody!" she said as she gave him a bright grin as if she was mocking his seriousness.
The mare practically prance up and down as if she had won some victory against him. Upon his annoyed tone telling her to stop what ever she was doing.
"Gaius huh? that's an interesting name I never heard before. Also can can you stop looking at me so suspiciously, I won't eat you or anything if that's bothering yo- no wait whats bothering you is that you don't know what herd I'm in is that it?" and with that in just a few span of second the mare stop her highly active attitude and stood still looking back at him with a wide smirk on her face but her voice was half serious and teasing ring to it.

Looking up to the clear sky, no cloud in sight as he wished the sun would drop down and dip into the horizon so this day can be over with already... Gaius sighed dramatically loud, making a clear message that he has given up on trying with Tamera. If she thinks that the nickname came because he considered her a 'close enough' friend- then sure, she can knock herself out with it for all he cared.
"Yes, well, It's genuine." He said with faint smug upon hearing his name get repeated. "And yes, If possible I'd like to know where you came from and more importantly why you're here."
The sudden change of attitude surprised the stallion, but he didn't visually show it. The smirk in question just happened to get on his nerves the more he looked at it.
'This mare is an odd one- that's for sure'

"Well I'm from the Bachelor herd, and as for why i'm here its because I got bored and didn't want those guards hovering over me all day so I went exploring a bit." She explain in a matter of fact not teasing this time.
"Aren't you gonna show me around since your an exile? I was hoping for a tour, unless you don't mind me making a fuss by myself around your herd that is." She looked slightly down at the stallion since she was several inches taller. It was as if she was suggesting that she was black mailing him in the most oddest way ever.
Surely at least the stallion should be surprised at her more serious side but the male didn't make any facial expression expressing any surprise. Oh well she'll just have to try and find another to get him to show his true face. Tamera enjoys making others reveals their hidden side it was one if her many faults, she could never resist a perfectly good face with a poker face on top or that.

Nodding his head as she spoke, he shifted his eyes off to the side, looking over at the waters behind. He made it seem he was looking into her eyes when really- he wanted a distraction- an excuse. Oh how he wanted to leave already, He wanted a lazy day but than this mare decided to come along and ruin plans. How wonderful.
Gaius grumbles, irritated by having the task of escorting Tamera around- around his herd. It was such a drag honestly... Where would he even start? There wasn't much to this land and everything seemed either Bland or boring- possibly both. It was embarrassing to lead around a horse for them to only be disappointed.
Sure this was his home but it didn't stop the embarrassment when he compares it to the tales of the Mystical Olde and Lush greens of the Bachelors.
"So..Where do you want to go, Twinkles?" He asks, stupidly, forgetting that the Bachelor never been here. It took him amount to realize this before sighing loudly once again. "You know what," He started monotonously, "Just follow me, I have something I think you might like to see."

Oh how fun was it to get the stallion wrapped around her little white thread, she knew he was bored and wanted nothing more then to leave, she wasn't oblivious to his body language at all, but Tamera was begin her mischievous self and when that happens good lord who knows what she will do!
The mare chuckled at the stallion's forgetfulness, that for a Bachelor she has never set foot onto this land before.
"Your cute you know that, poker face." she smiled and winked at him while swishing her tail from left to right waiting eagerly for him to show her what he said she might light to see. It was her turn to nick name him now after she observed his demeanor since she been talking to him.

Upon hearing Tamera calling him 'cute' he was visually baffled, jaw hung slightly open, eyes wide with horror and a tint of blush splattered on his cheeks in pure embarrassment- 'she didn't just- did she??' He couldn't believe this mare right now- he couldn't believe how cliche this was!
"I- I uh," He stutters much to his displeasure, than coughs, averting any eye contact as he strains to continue, "Just follow me! I don't have time for this." He turns quickly, trying to rid his head of how ridiculous this whole thing is. Why must it happen to him of all the horses in the Southern Isle?
The stallion proceeded to take long strides which was borderline trotting to the direction of The Charred Forest. He wanted to get there fast, so this abomination can leave already.
